In the middle of August my daughter started limping. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

The other day I took her to Dr. J. Even though he is still awaiting the Igenex results, his opinion was that it was probably JRA and that we could begin treatment.

I can finally sleep at night, knowing that I have done everything I can to try to make sure it isn't Lyme.

John,
I'm sorry to hear fo your daughter's diagnosis.

That you took her to Dr J and are certain of the diagnosis is fantastic.

Kudos to you for your due diligence in getting her the proper diagnosis!

Sorry to hear your daughter is ill. Like others said, good for you for taking her to Doc. J. He is very thorough. He runs multiple tests to rule out other possible diagnoses.

Best to you and your daughter.

Hi John:

We saw him on Tuesday, my daugher is 10 and we believe bitten just over a year ago.

I believe you have made the right decision. Its unfortunate the situation he is in as it impacts the patients care. You'll have to be proactive.

Part of our daughters story is here.
