we are off to wyoming and the ranch in the morning.

it's our annual trip for me, hunting trip for him.

we're taking a side trip through the west side of colorado adn yellowstone then on to casper to go hunting.

we'll be gone about 3 weeks.

lots of travel cause we're driving but i'm looking forward to the scenery.

he's always better when we're away from here. so it should be a good trip.

i'll have my computer with me but won't be posting too much.

Randi,

I hope you have a wonderful autumn adventure.

Hey, regarding your privacy on computer, you know that anyone can look up your computer's "history" and go right to your posts, right? That is important to know. They would never need your password if your computer is able to connect to the web. Just a look in "history" will offer every site you've been on, every post.

You can clear your history and, unless they are very computer literate, would not be able to trace your steps. When you travel, it may be more important to lock access.

Take care, now.

Randi,

I have a Mac and my guess is that you are a PC. But, in my margin, there are tabs for my server, File, Edit, View, HISTORY, Bookmarks, Help, etc.

I can just go to History, pull that down and clear it. Somewhere, in your - uh - wallpaper screen - there should be a history option.

Then, I go to Safari (my server) to the preferences and delete "Cookies" I have to sign back into to sites but it adds a bit more protection.

Still, those very skilled in computers can retrieve history - but clearing history and deleting cookies can keep most people out of your business. It can also help your computer run faster to do this every couple of days. But, when traveling, it's just good to keep any strangers locked out.

As for the bears in Yellowstone, though, they can get into just about anything that is labeled "cookies" [Wink]

randi,

You could see if your computer is like mine:

Try going to the dropdown "Tools" menu near the top of your screen

Go down to internet options and click on it

A screen opens that has several tabs

Under the first tab, "General", is a section called "Browsing History"

Under "Browsing History" is a "Delete" button...click on it and your browsing history should be deleted.

[lol]

PS... my computer has a separate "history" tab next to the "view" and "bookmarks."
