You get overwhelmingly excited to get a package with the following enclosed:

Malarone, Artemesisin, Doxycycline, Bactrim DS, Metronidazole, Resveratrol, Methy Folate, and Fluconazole

...just saying....

but I am EXTREMELY excited about this whole package situation!!! haha

[woohoo]

Have fun with all that! But not all at once -

You might have Lyme and Friends if you expect to be a Medical Mystery no matter where you go and who you see.

You might have Lyme and Friends if doing the dishes is as challenging as climbing a mountain!

4Seasons, I do believe ThatColorGreen is "learning to dance in the rain!"

Great signature quote - I've passed it on to many friends already!

You might have Lyme disease if a 90yo can walk faster than you can! And without aids! (like a cane, etc.)

You might have lyme and friends if you lead your family on a wild goose chase trying to get to Opryland Mills when you realize you have been following a "river" instead of a "parkway".

OMG we laughed so hard when we dead-ended at a river and I said "I don't remember seeing a river on the map!"

No more navigating for me! But it did feel good to laugh that hard!

if you go shopping and buy a purple dress!!!!,,,,

and when you took it out of the bag when you got home,,,,,,,,

the dress was actually blue!

NOT purple!

no wonder the salesgirl kept trying to hide from me!

You MIGHT have Lyme and Friends if :

you go to a parent teacher meeting and you ask the teacher if you have met him before....

and he says "Yes,,,we spent an hour in August talking about your daughter's Lyme disease and how I could help her this year."

Honestly,,,

He did not look familiar at all...

I felt so humiliated,,,but I was so glad that he already knew I also have Lyme,.,,so he probably expected me to be a little on the crazy side.

You MIGHT have Lyme and friends if:

you take out meat in the morning to thaw out in time to cook it for supper,,,,

you stare at the meat all day long,,,,

then your husband comes home and says,,,"Did you forget to make supper? I wrote you three notes and taped them all over the house to help you remember"

I said " I know,,, I was even staring at it every time I came into the kitchen,,,,it just never occured to me that it might be a good idea to cook it!!!!"

So we had to throw the meat away ,,,,many times.

...you are starting a load of laundry and want to wash your favorite sweatshirt.

You spend 20 minutes looking for the dumb thing, only to give up, hang your head in confusion, and see that you are wearing it.

These are really funny!!

I like that one: Thaw the meat. Now cook it!

You might have Lyme and friends if you have to take the last action first.

What I mean by this, is I might just sit there and do nothing, so if I take the last action first, then that prompts me to do everything to get there.

Sometimes this last action is opening the door to go out. So then I have to get ready, 'cause the door's open.

That's for a really lethargic Lyme day...

Nichol said.. "The local drug store doesn't stock large enough pill organizers to fit all of your medications/supplements for the day...he,he,he..."

GOOD ONE!

I'll add to it.

You have to buy a fishing tackle box to hold your daily dose of supplements.

You might have Lyme and Friends if:

You get up at night to use the little girls room and happen to wander by the mirror and scare yourself stupid because you forgot you'd put detox clay all over you before you fell asleep and your face is green!

You hide most of the supplement bottles before Mom visits but only leave a couple "token" bottles out for her to see. She still thinks I take too many "pills"

You might have Lyme & Co if . . .

Your 4 year old helps you button your jeans instead of the other way around.

You finally just throw your jeans on the floor and buy a dozen pairs of sweats.

Taking a shower on a daily basis is beyond your wildest dreams.

You're so skinny, that friends no longer greet you with, "Hi, how are you?" Instead their jaw drops and they say, "OMG are you eating?"

Ha ha ha, lots of funny stuff there! I see a Lyme Laughter book in the making.

You might have Lyme and friends if you find yourself envying the octogenarians' active lifestyle at the assisted living facility where your mother-in-law resides.

And their diets aren't as restricted as yours is.

Green, sounds like you've got just the right spirit for taking meds! Next time when you order them, include some ice cream in the order...

You might have Lyme and friends if you mean to say a word but come out with another that sounds like it,

and then people are wondering what you meant and you toss it off like you just made a joke.

Instead of saying the meeting was in October, I said it was in Oakland (nearby city).

Instead of saying I was having my morning cereal, I said my morning salad.
Etc.

Just try to make sense when you've just said the wrong word.
