I just found out I have Lyme disease from the My Lyme ID test (Pharmasn labs / NeroScience, Inc.)
I became symptomatic in early 2006 whilst living abroad and the last 5 years has been difficult to say the least. Moving from one doctor to the next, fybromyalgia, CFS (especially the last couple of years) strange neurological symptoms and unremitting GI issues.
I never suspected Lyme and was beginning to think I was truly going crazy. I thought I had some kind of parasite, but my current doc is Lyme literate and ran a CD57 (my level is 22) and then the My Lyme ID which indicates a very active infection.
I'll start with Doxycycline and Flaygl. I've been taking an anti-parasitic for the last month which has helped a lot already.
I feel like I've spent the last few years in a dark hole of pain, and am finally waking up. Now I know what I have, everything makes sense. I feel for all those with this infection.
My understanding is that the My Lyme ID is a pretty good test. Does anyone know if there is a chance of a false positive? (I've been without a diagnosis for so long I'm cautious even now I have one.)
Hoping for better health...

The test you mentioned is so new, that I don't know anything about it. All I've heard is that it's supposed to be more sensitive in picking up the Lyme infection.
I hope you have a good dr and that you will recover quickly. Remember, it's all "relative" when it comes to "quickly."
Hope you're having a great day!
