It's a great day when you can get out and do something for your body!!

Take a walk, go shopping, lift weights, ride a bike, clean the house ... !

Hope your day is a great one!

Did my usual exercise today .. didn't feel well this morning.. but ventured out anyway.

Managed 40 laps and 12 minutes on the magic machine. Even did a few weights.

[lol]

TuTu-You and I are on the same wavelength. I started a thread for this week too and just saw yours so deleted mine.

Hope you get to feeling better real soon T.

Monday-Me and Rocky walked a little over a mile.

No water today, my pump is frozen solid. Need to replace the heatlamp bulb in the pumphouse.

Spray painted some small pinecones to go on my wreath and had the nozzle the wrong way so I have 2 silver fingers on my right hand and no water to wash them.

[lol]

Yep, I'm having fun. Think I'll just go to Etsy.

AK.. ha! Great minds think alike!

I was having vertigo or something today..still don't feel right. If I bent down for any reason today, I would go spinning. It wasn't real bad, but there.

Kayak.. hope you warm up soon! It is cold here too!

AK... By the time I get my stuff on Etsy, you'll be out of money!! [Big Grin]

3 pm pressure in head is not letting up so excedrin seems like what I need to do next.

Able to spot clean a bit the 3 spots pm carpet...looks like I just made the spots bigger.

Able to kind of clean the bathroom sink using baking soda and vinegar and kind of clean the shower floor using baking soda and vinegar and same with toilet...we are talking about less than 5 min as tha tis all I had in me.

Needed elbow greeze but didn't ahve that in me.

REally should not have been doing these things today as body and brain are struggling so and it makes it worse.

Jessica mopped kitchen and bathroom floors and vacuumed and washed pots and pans and put the laundry away that was on half of my bed.

Still a basket of laundry to put away and a launry basket to wash and a pile of laundry in the hall.

So, off to take 2 excedrin and cruise on over to the bank to get 2 rolls of quarters. That i think I can do. If not, I will turn around and come back. Worth a try.

Tuesday-Me and Rocky a little over a mile.

Well, turns out my pumphouse is fine. Just my crazy meth dealing neighbor coming over when I walk Rocky and turning off the outdoor breaker.

Called the sheriff's office and filed complaint and put a lock on the outdoor fuse box. That ought to stop that problem.

What a creep!!! [Mad]

Kayak-It's cold down here too. In the 30's when I walk Rocky and very windy. I try to walk faster to keep warm but alas, no effect against the wind.

TuTu-I'm saving some of my money, let me know when your stuff is on there.

Richedie-I remember when I could do all that. Dealing with a shoulder injury at the moment so all my exercising is on hold.

Kam-Do you make a paste with the baking soda and vinegar first? I'd like to try it cause I have a septic tank here.

Having a MRI of my shoulder tomorrow and physical therapy so I'll check in with everyone later!

[hi]

ALW...not able to read directions yesterday on how much of baking soad and vinegar so just winged it.

When I am able to read the directions I will let you know.

Finally looks like I might be doing well enough to make it to the grocery store this am via driving, walking in and getting electric cart.

I think I can. I think I can. Need to get dressed first. HA!

Bless you again, Lymetoo!

My husband comes home tonight. I am so thankful. My body is sooo tired of snow blowing, shoveling and loading the wood furnace. I could not lift my left arm this morning. I know that my arms are weak but this is ridiculous. I definitely need to start some weight lifting, but not a crash course!

Sorry I don't have it in me to comment on other posts. I am toast.

Just thinking of you karen so glad to hear from you.

I recall cleaning the bathroom when I first came down sick and then not being able to lift my arms to get Thanksgiving Dinner or sit upright.

Can't imagine all that you have been doing. But, can imagine what it is like not to be able to lift your arms because they are so weak.

Hoping you have a quick recovery.

Way to go, lotus!! And Rich too!!

AK.. It's a good thing you have Rocky for protection! I hope that helps!! What a nightmare!

As for etsy.. I've got to ask a friend to help me understand how to upload my images. Otherwise, I am almost set on the "store" there.

Got PayPal all set up. It's so overwhelming, but they tell me it's easy once I get thru all this set up!!

Didn't exercise today.. went to see the show my husband is playing in. It was great and he did such a good job. Had a friend with me too and she loved it.

kgg.. hope it gets warmer there soon.. and/or you get things settled. We're in for very cold windy weather this weekend.. MAY escape the snow/ice though. Not sure.

a friend stopped by and we took a heavy load to the storage...then not too much moving cuz i was with cable guy for 3 hrs. everything was working but then when i turned it off it wouldn't go on again. i'm too tired to deal with tech siupport right now.

two days now-when at the new place after 3-4 hrs...i get nautious, and dizzy and weak. first time i thought for sure i was getting the flu...but i slept good and woke up fine. then again to day after a few hours here (but they were hours hooking up tv and net-i'm sick again.

i'm wondering is it emfs? no new carpet or walls or paint or anything.

i'm trying to find out if nausea and dizzyness are emf sx.

i'm happy its not the real flu...but don't like being sick in my new place.

tomorrow i have to put as much stuff away as possible cuz fri morning is the day the moving company comes to do the heavy stuff. i have a lot of light things - bookcases etc and there are lots of closets so as long as i feel ok i can do that.

then i have to clean the other place...

and then get back to my real exercise...walking the beach, riding and kayaking...but that may be on hold til spring...if we don't get out of the 30's

i feel yucky...my tummy. hope its better in the morning. nite

Kayak..wore me out just reading what you are doing.

Lotus ...cool you were able to do the yoga, etc for an hour and it improved your mood. Nice.

Able to do the dry brushing this am, make a cup of detox tea and walk 10 min on the forest trail.

Smoke filled air this am...must be a controlled burn somewhere close by.

Grateful I slept through the night even if it was on the couch and I had the car to take Rosie out to exercise instead of being in the power chair...burr baby it is cold outside.

Others I saw on my way to the trail had full covered face and hat things on...could just see there eyes.

And I am in the southwest. Can't imagine what it is like in your neck of the woods.

I also dreamed that someone had cleaned up in the kitchen and done the laundry...you can imagine how disappointing that was when I went into the kitchen and found a two sinks full of dirty dishes.

Laundry is still stacked 4 feet high...so hoping to make a dent in both today. We shall see.

Able to get Christmas Towels out of storage and one wreath before brain and body went.

Neighbor stopped and wanted to talk while I was struggling in storage. That put me over the top.

Slow going this am. Just finished taking a shower...a bit of a set back..back to talking myself through each step and then forgetting what step I just took.

Resting now and then will get dressed. I'm OK ..I've had it worse and I've had it better.

I don't like the direction you are going KAM. Hope this turns around soon!

I can't remember what I did in the last couple of days. But I did finally get my mother's present in the mail. That was the most important thing! But as far as exercise not much but I haven't been sitting either. Just a blur.

Me too. Difficult to know if I am just going through a down cycle or if it is because I am no longer on ABX or if I ate something...new things are the protein meal drink I had last night and I just threw out some corn chips which I thought were sweet potatoe chips...they did have sweet potatoe on the label but when I read the ingredients the first one was corn...I usually need to stay away from corn.

Glad you were able to get your mom's gift in the mail.

Drove Rosie out to run in the forest while I drove...I had just started timing her outings to get an idea of where to start and where to end to give her at least 15 min on her feet.

But, too fogged in today to figure things out....

Was able to clean up in the kitchen a little bit. Put some dirty dishes in the dishwasher and then filled the two sinks full of soapy water to soak some more dirty dishes before putting them in the DW.

Don't have a clue where all these dirty dishes are coming from. On the other hand, don't recall when I emptied the DW last either so guessing they have been piling up.

Glad to read everyone's posts and give myself a break.

Me and Rocky walked to the back of the property and just a little ways up the street.

Am really stressing over the neighbor.

Went and bought a deer cam that's motion activated (merry xmas) to catch my neighbor coming onto the property.

Also bought me and the hubs locking gas caps and little flashlights (merry xmas) to keep our engines safe.

I need a drink! [cussing]

I've never jumped in on this thread since I teach pilates .... but saw it tonight ....

I went to the new teacher test out to watch/participate and took five classes (they were shortened ones for test out)! Yikes! I'll be sore tomorrow ..... I teach three hours in the morning, but I don't work out with the class, it's a lot of moving around though. Then back to the test out, but maybe only taking a couple classes tomorrow.

It's good to keep moving at whatever level you can.

I vacuumed this morning - boy that was tough, but if I kneel on my knees and do it, there is less balance issues for me - closer to the ground! haha.

SGK - I have an old pilates video that was pretty challenging even back then - you reminded me of it - maybe I will try it out later today.

At least with this DVD most of the work is on the floor so that is less intimidating to me - as opposed to some aerobics video.

I haven't exercised since June since I have been so fatigued but I feel more energetic now - just less mobile, go figure.

So baby steps - here I go, first day of attempting some form of exercise. I am thin but feel like I am turning into mush.

Will keep you guys posted! [lol]

Tutu...glad you were moving and groovin once again.

Six goofy kids...liked reading the blog your daughter wrote in response to the hatchet job article

WElcome and you add a whole new perspective to this getting well and moving. Hope you are not too sore.

Penguin girl..don't know about you but I really like it when I am able to vacuum...read somewhere that those with chronic illness should have the house vacuumed once a day...catch 22 for me and most likely most people with chronic illness.

Glad you are feeling more energetic.

Cruised over to post office box this am in power chair. Forgot gloves again so hands were hurting.

Body hurting too as I took the upright PC..hadn't really planned on going to post office when I went out the door to toilet Rosie...gut the cool morning air felt good on the brain so kept going..hoping it would help clear the brain up a bit.

Emptied silverwear basket from Dishwasher. Getting up now to put dirty silver wear in it if body allows.

TuTu..yes..I ran out of abx...but found an old bottle of mino yesterday and took one pill of that. Not sure how long this bottle will last but hoping it helps for a bit.

kam - this last post sounds better. maybe it was the corn. corn messes me up too.

i have kinda followed my plan. the moving guys did their thing yesterday-took 4 hrs-at the end they hit my truck with their van and almost pulled the bumper off...i thing we fixed it..just a scartch on the plastic...hope it doesn't fall off next week or somehting

last night a 8 pm i fell asleep on an unmade bed in the new place in my clothes without meds...i had gotten sick again in the new place-this time sneezing and stuffy sinuses before the nausea and dizziness. i put the air cleaner in the bed room with a small elec heater i used to use for camping and shut down the central heat vent in there. this morning i woke up without sinus trouble. so i think the ducts need to be cleaned. the return duct is dirty...you can see that.

this place is all elec-but it is an elec furnace that blows hot air...not the kind of elec baseboard

i am wondering and trying to figure out if the emf waves are a problem. right now i am stealing someones wireless and my hands and arms are tingling

mine was set up and then got messed up. my son is on his way over to help sort out the wires

i bought some jewelry that is supposed to help with emf...its on another thread in medical...

but i'm not that sure of what i am dealing with yet

the appliances are old...the dryer gets warm but doesn;t dry clotes or takes housrs to do just a few

the stove makes fumes when you use it and the fan above it just puts the fumes back in the house

the fridege seems to never shut off

i know the landord wants me here-i can afford the rent easy and he had trouvle renting it...everyone is leaving nj...but he is dragging his feel about getting this stuff right...i'm not sure which battle to fight first and i am sick of fighting...

anyway...i'm gonna take it kind of easy today...try to find impt things like sox and meds

maybe i'll rewrd myself but doing something with christmas decoratationas

still need to clean the old place...but rent is paid til jan 4.

i just noticed my tounge is tinngly too...i think theres something going on here...maybe when i am not so exhausrted i can figure it out

KGG-the weakness i hav found in my case is not cuz the muscles are not strong...it is cuz inflam makes pinced nerves...if that is the problems weight training wont help...i am so glad i am not up north like you.. that was really too hard for me.

take care all

Oh kayak... I hope things improve for you very soon!!

penguingirl... glad you could join us! Good job on the vacuuming! I actually made myself do some vacuuming yesterday. I hate doing the hard floors. Got it done.

Six.. What is testing out? Wish I could do Pilates. I think it's a little too intense for me! I used to do NIA and had to stop that. Wonder if my back is good enough now to try that again...hmmm.

I'm exhausted today. Slept well... but need more.

Kayak...I got overwhelmed with just reading your post. I know my health improves when the air/heater unit is not working and I can have the windows open???

I was able to sweep the patio finally this am...in a fog and it was a blur but i did it.

As well as get into the storage unit on the patio and put out 5 Christmas things on the shelf at the end of the hallway here at the apartments.

And one Christmas thing outside my door.

And found a stocking I can use for Rosie but need to find a way to hang it up..just for fun outside of my door.

I have not been able to do any Christmas decorations in the past so it brings me joy to be able to do a little.

Hoping to be able to do a little more.

The test out for the new teachers is when they teach a sample class. I took two more today. Now I am tired, LOL. Penguin, good luck with the video!!

The being on the mat part rather than standing is a benefit to Lyme patients. Tutu, it's also very protective of the spine, if it's too much, just take it slower or do less. [Smile]

Kam, I'm glad you enjoyed the post she wrote. It was nice of her to take the time to do it.

Haha, yeah, if you do mat. Only two of the classes (the ones today) were mat. The reformer is a little easier to get off of. [Smile]

At one point I had a lumbar spine issue .... I could do the pilates because it's protective of the spine, but I had so much trouble getting on and off the reformer, LOL.

OK. Wore myself out all ready this am. Took Rosie out to toilet via the power chair and in my PJ's.

Put two quilts in to wash. One is hanging up in the apartment. Waiting for other to finish washing.

Put a few more dishes in DW and started up DW while using power chair this am to do so.

Doing better fog wise..assuming it is because I am on the minocycline.

Put trash can liner in. Need to get dressed next. But, first need to rest.

Kitchen still needs work this am too and hoping to be able to fold and put away laundry from yesterday to make room for the quilt in washer to have a place to dry.

PS Feels good to see that stack of bedding/laundry going down. It has been stacked in the hallway corner since my friend came to visit before Thanksgiving.

One bedspread needs to go to the large laundry mat in town so don't know when that one will get washed...it is rare I have what it takes to get there.

Drove to post office and walked in and out to check mail box.

the land lord came and worked on some problems...didn't fix them yet tho. but he did promise to get someone to clean the air ducts so i hope that will stop these allergy/respiratory sx. oh and he put up my special shower head thing-that was really nice of him.

having him here goofed me up...he turned off the elec to fix a switch and now after my son got all the cable stuff working yesterday it won't work again. i hate to bother him -will probably try to call tech support tomorrow. but they tell me to do stuff i can't do...like plug and unplug stuff and my hands just won't do it

i also grocery shopped with the motorized cart AND...TA DA...I WALKED 40 MINUTES ON THE BOARDWALK!!!!! surf was really big.

first real exercise in a long time. nothing hurt for 30 min then leg muscles did hurt. so wierd cuz yesterday for 2 hours i couldn' t walk at all without crutches (i had forgotten to take coq10)

doc appt t omorrow and hope to sneak in at least a 20-30 min walk.

i think i'm gonna finally pick up kris's ashes too.
