Just curious if that complicates getting reimbursed for insurance claims..
I like my LLMD but not sure I am getting the more LLND areas addressed at the moment and don't trust myself to get all the proper supplements, etc as it is a bit overwhelming to research myself and know if it is applicable to me. Also need to address other things like parasite, heavy metals, etc etc etc.. I want to make sure I cover all grounds from the beginning!
I found someone from the lymenet list that is both a LLMD and LLND. But don't want to step on anyone's toes - I am still in the early phases of treatment with my current LLMD so want to continue for now.
What do you think?

Yes, my son has his pediatrician LLMD, an NP for muscle testing... and in two weeks we go see a LLMD specializing in heavy metals.
My LLMD suggested I find a naturopath or a nutritionist when I walked into an appointment with a list of supplements and holistic treatments. My son's LLMD did not know 1/2 of what I was asking about. She answered honestly about what she knew about and was genuinely interested in the rest... but did not know enough to advise me.

Then, when I showed her the info on HPU/KPU she suggested I find someone who can do the hair testing and advise us in chelation.
She is still monitoring his CBC and seeing him for lyme + coinfections... but she is not an expert in heavy metals so she wants us to have an expert on the case.
If your doctor does not address all the areas of this disease, you should find another doctor who can support you in that other area. First, ask your current LLMD. Then, if they can't help you, look elsewhere.
Good luck in your quest for guidance. I know I would be lost without the help I get from all of the good doctors out there!

I forgot about muscle testing - I am not sure if the person who does it has to be lyme literate?
I will ask my LLMD about all these issues to put it on the table.
I searched for someone in Boston who does muscle testing, not sure if he is good, so putting the link on here in case anyone has seen him. I didn't see "lyme disease" on the list where HK has been helpful though!

I have 2 for my daughter. One is her LLMD for abx. The other one does the supplements and other treatments.
Her supplement doctor used to be her abx doctor, but we switched after about a year. He knows about the other doctor, but she doesn't know about him. He defers to her opinion, so I don't see an issue.
We do a lot of our appointments by phone since they are both far away and insurance doesn't pay for those anyway.
Last year I did go to both of them within a few months and insurance paid for both of them without a problem. At that time, it was for abx treatment for both while I decided which one to see.
