so i found out i have lyme yesterday and took my first dose of antibiotics today. it all feel so surreal and i sure am glad to have found a group like this. hope to become more active in the future and get to know y'all and about the journey i am starting. here's to a good week...

Welcome.. I was dx about 2 months ago after 11 years of wondering why I was so sick. What antibiotics are you taking? I am scared to take them.

Are you able to work or be out and about? Me, mainly housebound.

my parents and my brother all have it too. my mom got me and my brother tested as they were really sick and she was scared. i am working- my symptoms are more anxiety headaches tiredness stomach than physical pain for the most part. i am also scared to take the antibiotics seeing what the rest of my family is going through but i want to get better so here goes. im taking doxycycline and my fingers are crossed as i just started a new job and have no sick days.

^ Wait a minute, your starting doxycycline? How many miligrams are you on of it. and are you seeing an LLMD?

im on 100mg 2xday. i am seeing LLMD which my parents go to as well.
