Hi there <<<<< Lyme family >>>>>,

After TxCoords knee replacement surgeries, in May and Oct. of 2010, he is having some diabetic neuropathy issues.

Recent blood work for him shows evidence of the neuropathies in extremities and something unusual regarding his kidneys.

It may be as simple as a mild infection [tho' he has no symptoms we can detect]. Or it can be something serious as to kidney diseases.

TxC' has had to take some rather strong meds [anti-inflammatories] for many years...they can affect kidney and *liver function[*which seems okay from the blood work-ups.

Tho' I have gone gluten free, I am still having respiratory problems and 'IBS' like issues since an allergy attack in Dec.

There are family stresses as often happen to us all...and TxCoord and I just need a break, some measure of peace and comfort right now!

For those who pray, please remember us in your tho'ts and prayers. We leave in a few minutes for TxC's blood draw, and then must do some errands.

We are trying to approach this positively, and not get super freaked and scared. We are also weary from all the on-going medical stuff.

We haven't given up... just weary... and I am still fighting the LD and Co's symptoms, [especially the Babs type issues right now].

I strongly suspect...well, pretty well know that TxC' has LD and Co's too tho' he has not been assessed and DX'ed yet.

Thanks for agreeing w/ us in prayer for peace and Creators best for us!

Will report back in as we find out more. Please know we appreciate all of y'all here on LymeNet... it really seems like no one else actually understands what we are going thru.

Of late we have both felt very alone... tho' we know we are not truly alone...

Gotta head out for now...
Jus' Silverwolfi and TxC'

<<<<< 17hens ,MDW005, Lyme family >>>>>,

We are back after blood draw and errands. Unfortunately the *Med. professional who asked TxC' to come in today, had taken the day off.

There are plenty of folk who can do the draw, but we had hoped that there would be some explanation forthcoming...

so now we play the waiting game I guess. The last blood draw was 10 days wait. The clinic is right here in town...

Thanks for the prayers,we will update as we get any info'.Meanwhile we are trying to remain calm.

Dear Silverwolfi and TxC':

Sorry you're feeling so poorly and alone. You already know that you are not really alone. Our Father is always with you.

And you do have the Lymenet Family who knows and understands what you are going through.

Yes, I will be praying for you both, as are so many others.

The Creator is the Mighty God. There is no one like Him. And nothing is impossible for Him.

As you wait for the results...may you experience the supernatural peace that comes from the One who loves you with an everlasting love.

God bless you Silverwolfi and TxC'!

Will pray for you tonight before I go to bed, and tomorrow as I go through my day.

I will pray, too, for the peace that passes all understanding for you and that you may rest in His arms.

And pray, also, for someone to come into your lives, or a gesture from someone so you don't feel so alone.

Hi <<<<< momindeep >>>>>,

Thank you for the prayers, we are continuing to carry on, TxC' is doing a short comedy and song set tomorrow at the local VA home. USO is putting it on.

He was a bit down,as he cannot chord on his guitar right now [neuropathy] but he said he'll use a piano or keyboard...easier to chord. it will help to pass the time, and maybe make someone else smile too!

We appreciate the prayers for peace, and some means of comfort right now... friends,a gesture whatever Creator decides!

TxC' is precious to me,he has kept smiling even thru the pain, his and mine. I try not to worry or be anxious... I think fighting the 'wearies' wears us both down...if that makes sense.

We so need to be able to just rest in the Arms of Creator God right now. It is like,if I started to cry again I might not be able to stop...and that hurts the sinuses.

We both know our Creator has a purpose, a reason behind all the situations even tho' we cannot always see it.

I sometimes say,I am not sure I want to answer the phone,or e-mails,even tho' we keep doing it.

We have had so many family deaths since 2000, 17 people now, including my mom in '08 and a favorite uncle-in-law this January. and 19 folks who've died if we count a very close dear elderly friend and her husband.

My Dads sis' is dealing w/ the after affects of strokes, and not fairing well... TxC's favorite aunt is to be 90 this fall, and losing ground.

Dad isn't well, neuro issues [three cancer battles],loses balance and falls easily... Our prayer often is keep those who are still living safe, and help us not to miss those who've left this life to much.

I try to think of them being happy and safe now, those who've been called to the Lord.It is hard w/ this illness, and TxC's physical problems too...[he went blind in one eye as well as several other issues].

We haven't been able to get time to mourn, and move on w/ jobs lost, health loss and deaths...one after another after another...

And then criticisms from others who purported to be understanding friends. We were told we were too negative [especially me].

Those who do in fact understand...keep contact other than LymeNet family tho' it is very very few folk.

I don't mean to feel sorry for me and TxC',and sound all glum and depressing... just super tired...too much to do...no energy... So Godly peace and rest is very very important... at this time.

TxC' did get to talk w/ a counselor yesterday...so that is something helpful... I better quit jabbering...don't want others to get down...just because we are having troubles.

Again, we appreciate each replier, and all who are praying... I believe strength and encouragement come thru folks knit together in prayer common experiences and love!

Jus' Silverwolfi and TxC' too... but I'm the jabberer tonight.

Goodness,I guess I must be needing to vent...

I don't know if I am making sense... as to friendships... I meant that very very few folks have stayed in contact w/ us...other than our LymeNet family.

TxC's brother tries, and my dad...but many folk we had tho't were our friends...don't call, e-mail or visit...at all. A couple will respond if we call or e-mail,but only very limitedly.

And we do have one very dear young friend who goes to college near us. As well as a young couple next door who try to check in. We are grateful to have them in our lives.

We mourn what we tho't were true long term friendships tho', folks we have known for many years. And we had tried to be upbeat, around them...

a few weeks of not hearing is one thing... months turning into years...lets us know that perhaps they were not truly friends...

Well, I'm gonna sign off for tonight...thank you Lyme Net family for caring ,prayer-ing and sharing with us!!!

Jus' the Silverwolfi and TxC' too.

Silverwolfi and TxC',

Oh, WOW, you two have experienced so much loss.

Truly I can't imagine the grief you've experienced and continue to go through as a result of the deaths in your family...incredible loss!!!, the close friends that "were lost", unimaginable that they would leave when they are needed the most!!!; and just the pain of going through a chronic illness! [Frown] [Frown] [Frown] [Frown] [Frown]

Wish I could put my arms around you both and rock you until you fell a sleep (it's the grandmother coming out in me) and make all of it go away.

On the God Thought thread for this week I posted a song. I pray it ministers to you both and that, instead of my arms, that you would sense Almighty God's arms holding you, healing your broken hearts, and healing your broken bodies.

We do serve a very big God. Nothing is impossible with Him. Our God says that He is close to the broken hearted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzrSkMIQCIY&feature=related

There is a gentleman that reads the verse and then the song begins.

Continuing to pray! Peace!

<<<<< daisyrlb and randibear >>>>>,

Thanks for the prayers and kind comments!

Daisy, the music line is beautiful and soothing, and we appreciate the prayers so very much!!!!

Randibear, you just replied on My medical board post asking about -sadness and ominious feelings- being a symptom of LD and co's!

We have had yet another death among family and friends...got the call a few minutes ago... someone we used to know called this morning, late. her son just died...we didn't know C'ron was even ill.

TxC' is heading off to make folks smile at the Vets home, w/ a heavy heart over our friends passing. He will be one of the speakers at the funeral on Wednesday.

I am having 'IBS'- stay close to the restroom- problems and heart palps/irregular heart beat, for a couple days now...

so I will be staying here today, instead of being able to support TxC' while he tries to bring a merry heart to others.

Had an odd feeling something wasn't right last night,...but didn't know anything about C'rons illness.

Right now, I just feel teary, numb and tired...

If it weren't for our Lyme family here...don't know what we'd do.. at least we can share w/ y'all how devastating this feels.

This last month my fav' uncle[in-law] died in a car accident...

So far since 2000,we've been averaging about 2 folk ,usually family, dying per year...

This New year so far,Uncle W' in January,and now C'ron have/has died.

Seriously,it makes me really not want to answer the phone...or check snail mail and e-mails... but we must check.

TxC's elder brother is being treated for a broken hip...having drunk to much, again, and fallen from his wheelchair. See it doesn't end.

And we are trying hard not to worry about TxC's kidney situation... this isn't helping the wait for lab results...

As cartoon I once saw reads, *'... stress ..stress what stress?' the Zebra said as his stripes all fell off...*

I know the Lord and Creator is in control...I just don't know how to process all this...

Chronic Illnesses, health and job losses, deaths in the family and among friends, and those we tho't were friends who have pulled away, and do not communicate.

Some good, happy, heartening news,w/o bad news following right on its heals would be very welcome right about now.

'A merry heart does good like medicine' and 'hope deffered makes the heart sick '... the ups and downs have been too high and too deep...and I just don't know how to balance anymore.

So those prayers for peace for us...are very very needed. We appreciate each one who is praying... so much...and as I said...LymeNet is a huge huge help!

Randibear, you have been going thru a heart breaking battle too, honey. And we think of you, often![Perhaps our Moms have had a chance to meet and talk in Gods heavens].

I've gotta rest for a bit, Hopefully TxC' will be back in a couple hours w/ some cheery stories!!
He was trying hard to be upbeat for the USO activities today!!!

Jus' the Silvewolfi here

Oh, no, so sorry...yet again the sorrow...

Continuing to pray precious ones.

Psalm 56:8 (NKJ) reads, "You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they ot in Your book?"

Such a beauiful verse. You can just tell how much the Lord treasures our tears and knows and cares about our pain and suffering. He has them numbered. I imagine we can't even keep track of all of them. God knows.

Even Jesus wept (John 11).

One day there will be a perfect world...thanks to Him.

You two are something else. Even in your pain and sorrow you are reaching out to others. Amazing!

<<<<< daisyrlb >>>>>,

Thank You for reminding me of Psalm 56:8 and John 11 too !!!

Maybe our bottle of tears is a lake now, called Trekkin'-TxCoord and Silver-wolfi-bear's lake or something...

I am hopeful that some good news is coming...while we are yet here on this earth... I guess the hope springs up thru the numbing pain and sadness.

TxC' was remarking that he'd love it if we could have a year w/ no further medical problems and no deaths of family and friends... a year off w/ no major stresses...that would be a beautiful gift...

We've decided that sometimes plain ol' boring is just plain nice sometimes!!!

I do look forward to our Creators perfect world... and yet,-please God, could we have some of that perfect peace and a better rest of the year here?-

We keep on reaching out, thru the pain, because we know what it is like to be in anguish and to feel alone. And sometimes if we can help someone else...we feel a bit less pain knowing they are being helped.

God is love, and love is something you do... even in the midst of deep sorrow! And sometimes we reach out in love even thru the foggy numbness.

I don't like pain and foggy numbness...but a *work buddy that TxC knew once said:'...I don't like pain, but it does let me know I am alive...'.

The *fella had fallen from a balcony, volunteering for an Easter play set up and take down. He broke his shoulder, and then had to have a kidney removed that calcified and went cancerous.

Thanks again for the kindness and prayers!

I'll check again in a bit...trying to wade thru a bit of Laundry...

Wow...Silver.. I'm so sorry to hear all that you are going through. It is horrendous to me that you two are suffering so much. It's so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I know that God loves you more than you can imagine and I know that you both know that. It does help to hear from your brothers and sisters in Christ to share the strength that we all have in Jesus.

Hope that made sense! In other words, it helps to hear from the Body of Christ as we are all One.

Praying for you both. [group hug]

<<<<< Lymetoo and Steve >>>>>,

Thanks for the prayers, and kind tho'ts!

TxC' and I are both very glad that we have some Christian family here on LymeNet,we don't really get much fellowship here in SE Idaho.

We were touched that the folks who called about TxC' speaking at the funeral remembered us,and honored that C'ron had spoken/tho't so highly of TxC'

By the way,TxC' was able to make some of the Vets at the state home laugh and smile... that's what he wanted...so that was encouraging!

We continue to pray for that peace that passes all understanding and to wait expectantly with hope.

Maybe,we are hoping, things will calm down soon w/ no deaths or serious stresses for a time.
I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for LymeNet, and the support we find here on the boards w/ this group of folks!

We will let everyone know as soon as we hear back on TxC's bloodwork labs, kidney and neuropathy info' .

Jus' Silverwolfi and TxC'

PS I'llLet TxC' tell y'all about his USO comedy experience at the VA home today!

Silverwolf so glad you got a good laugh and an endorfun fix!

MDW, that was so funny. I love Dennis Swamberg. I've heard him live before. Hilarious.

I'm going to have to YouTube search for him.

Thanks for the laugh. Still [lol]

Dear Silverwolfi and TxC,

I am so sorry for all the pain, losses, burdens and trials you have experienced and continue to experience.

I will definitely keep you in my daily prayers.

[group hug] [group hug] [group hug] [group hug] [group hug]

God will never leave you.

I am so amazed by the strength and faithfulness of both of you!!!

Thank TxC for me for participating in the USO show...fantastic!

My son is nearing the end of a year-long deployment in Iraq and I know those USO shows meant alot to the soldiers....so I'm sure the people at the Vet's Home appreciated it very much.

I thought this Joyce Meyer article about hard times was comforting...

Hi <<<<< Lyme Family >>>>>,

Update, tho' we don't know much yet...w/ thanks for those who have been keeping us in prayer.

This Thursday,if weather and medicine[ he cannot go w/o the anti-inflammatories,but they may be doing kidney damage] issues don't cancel,TxC' is to have an Ultrasound on kidneys.

We will be traveling about 3hrs. to get to VA hospital, where he had his knee replacements done.

TxC' has been advised to add fish oils and cherry to help w/ inflammation/arthritis issues. Each time he tries to stop the anti- inflammatories...

he becomes mostly bedridden, this doesn't help his p.t. exercises so he can walk reasonably well again.

TxC' spoke at his friends funeral, and then had to rest a couple days. Meanwhile our young neighbor [hunting partner] was hospitalized and is having chemo ,and platelet meds for a rare blood disorder.

We've both had flu like symptoms,so cannot go to check on young neighbor right now. And I have a sprained leg yet again...

It is a frustration, I get so tired that I cannot properly help my TxC'... But that is where things are at at the moment...in the Rocky mountain high desert storms here.

Silverwolfi and TxC' , canes, wheelchair and snow storms... but we're surviving.
