I'm in the midst of a finger arthritis flare and can't search through previous threads, so does anyone know of a charity or just a friend who would be able to drive me to my LLMD appt next week and then drop me back off where I'm staying?

The person I'm staying with is has Lyme but she's sick and already going out of her way to get me from the airport so I don't want to burden her further.

Last time I went I had to pay for a cab and it was $170! I'm not able to work much so money is tight.

Help or suggestions or links, etc. please?!

Thank you!

Kassandra

might help to also ask in the california lyme group, maybe more people from sf on there. I think you have to join though. Take care.

IF I lived in that area would love to help you out.

Nothing more fun than helping the need.

Darn, I only live half a continent away!!

Hope you find someone. How long of trip is it???(few miles or hundreds??) Might post that, gives an idea to others

Thanks for all the replies!

I need to go from Pacifica to Redwood City, CA. It's about 20 miles or less. Takes 25-30 minutes to get there...and then 25-30 mins to get back.

I just sent in my request for the CA Lyme group but have yet to hear back, so hopefully that will happen soon.

Keep 'em comin!
