Hi <<<<< Lyme Family >>>>>,
TxC' has the blood draw and work up at 9:30 a.m, tomorrow, Mon. Apr.11. Then they start the IV w/ sodium bicarb [ to help them see what they are doing during procedure ].
Then, theoretically, the surgical procedure will start at noon...and go on for...??? They will go thru the main artery in his groin, and will be inserting a stent, then a patch graft over the aneurysm.
After the procedure is over he will be flat on his back for between 2 to 6 hours. He must remain still and calm while the incision and graft close and heal.
We'll see how it goes from there. Prayers for safety, healing, and peace would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks so much !!!

Thank you for the update. May you both experience peace and get some rest tonight.
Agreeing in prayer for "safety, healing, and peace." God has led you this far, finding the aneurysm, He will continue to lead. May He guide the hands of the doctors, and all of the surgical and care team that is involved.

<<<<< Lyme Family >>>>>,
Thanks for tho'ts and prayers...Update, TxCoord is out of surgery, but will be in ICU for twelve hours at least.
They got the aneurysm patched, and stated 'it is gone',but had to make a quite large incision in the femoral [groin ]artery to get tools and patch where needed,up in to the Right Common Illiac artery.
It has been nerve wracking ...so now we wait somemore... thanks for the prayers and good tho'ts please keep them coming.
It is important that the femoral artery seal properly so TxC' doesn't have a dangerous, life threatening bleed.
Will check back when I know more...
jus' Silverwolfi

Thanks for tho'ts and prayers <<<<< Lyme Family >>>>>,
It is greatly appreciated!
New Update: TxC' is still in ICU, he has eaten a small amount, and walked a few steps. He is now sitting up in a chair, more comfortable than flat on his back.
At some point today, they may move him to the surgery patient floor,if there is no bleeding from the Femoral artery incision. He's in a regular room now!!! New update in the PS after my Silverwolfi sign off on this reply!!!
We had hoped he could be released for Wed. but I am not sure that is going to happen, not w/ him still in ICU,and a: 'they may move me to surgical patient floor later' from TxC'.
He will have a three or four hour ride to get home [depending on how many patient/client drop offs the Van must do].
Safety wise,it is of course best that he stay in Hospital 'til any danger of an artery bleed is long past. So we will see what occurs.
Continued prayer agreement, for swift healing, safety and peace would be very welcome for us both right now!
Thanks for the kindness and support!
Jus' Silverwolfi and TxCoord too
PS _____New...More news: TxCoord,is in a regular room on the surgical ward finally!!! he got to sit up, walk a few steps, and seems to be handling food and pain reasonably well.
If...a cautious guarded, If, he does okay thru the day and night ...he might actually get to come home tomorrow early evening.
Again he has to prepare for a few hours ride... so we'll see what happens!

Thanks for the Continuing prayers !
Waiting on physical therapy to see TxC', he has some issues w/ his back, and cannot come home 'til he can climb on the Disabled Vets Van [DAV],and 'til he can sit up for extended amount of time w/o pain.
He can stand pretty well, had a shower etc. [w/ aid], but they are taking a better safe then sorry approach, and that is both wise and comforting...will update when I know more.
Silverwolfi -waiting,and still happy the surgery is over!

<<<<< Lyme Prayer Warriors/Lyme family >>>>>,
Thanks so much for the support..it was probably the scariest thing for me in a long time.
TxC' was in ICU from 2:00 p.m. Monday Apr.11 until noon Tue. Apr.12 [yesterday].
He is home now after a long tiring ride on the DAV...I am really surprised that they let him come home...and so glad to have him.
God was merciful... the Drs. had to check all four of his tests: X-ray,Ultrasound CT w/o contrast, and a CT w/ contrast.
Then they did a 'rather large incision in the femoral artery' to hear the Dr. tell it.
Then after the surgery, they had several Drs. and nurses watching his heart...seems it 'Self reverses'. Once the monitors flat lined while he was wide awake and talking.
But he is home...I am so glad he is home!!!
Jus' Silverwolfi...weary and worn but Happy !

Thanks so much everyone who was agreeing in prayer and sending good wishes for TxC'!!!
<<<<< Lyme Family prayer Warriors , and Well Wishers! >>>>>
TxCoord is trying hard to gain strength it was a long ride home on the DA Van. He is still having problems walking right now , it will take some time to regain his strength.
We are going to keep researching and pursuing help for fighting suspected LD and Co's for TxC' on our own.
He has spent a long time trying to help me , and it is time he had some help too...the symptoms are to many to ignore.
We'll check back in in a day or so...both really weary.
Thanks again so much Lyme Family for the Support!
Just Silverwolfi and TxCoord
