Everybody's different. I had it tough at first, but when the germ load was down, itvwasnt bad. I herxed in dr.j.office when there for an appt for my son, shaking, eyes tearing, nose running, he had his staff get me a blanket. Came home thought i was gonna die. That nite passed and never had another bad one physical since then. Felt like the worst flu ever.

Rocephin, for me, was more like sweet relief. The herx was minimal, and from the first infusion I felt better from the meningitis for which it was prescribed. I took it with flagyl - cyst busting is a necessity.

Good luck!

I had a herx at about four weeks after starting IV Rocephin. It was like Lyme in Putnam, worst flu ever. Then just kind of passed thru my system. Detox the best you can.

I'm on IV, resting now from 28 days, may continue later still. I took a brush and used it in the bath. Got water hot as I could and threw in 16 ox. peroxide and 2 c of empsom salt. Rest , it feels very good! Made sure you brush soles of feet, thery contain many pores and this is important.

I am now finally feelig a bit better. I hope you will be ok! [hi]
