Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.

It was iffy if my brain was working well enough to go to the drive through at the bank to get 2 rolls of quarters for laundry.
Since I just had to go across the street, I figured I'd be OK.
Teller put the quarters along with a dog biscuit in the window thing. When, she pushed the window thing out one roll of quarters hit the ground and broke open.
I was befuddled. I put the dog buscuit (bisquit) (just how do you spell it?) in my purse and offered Rosie the roll of quarters.
Duh! Winning!
And yes I have lost my sense of humor lately so this is a good post.

Hey Kam, I think it's spelled ( biscuits )!
I know what you mean by (if my brain was working well enough). You made me laugh with the roll of quartters!
Here'one for you>
Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged.
However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman--dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet--who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
"I don't know," he said. "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown."
