The arthritis I have had since I was 23 was just confirmed to be lyme and bartonella. 17+ years with strange illnesses. I am sure many of you have similar stories.

So on top of mold and metals, I have at least lyme and bartoenlla... I think I have babesia and/or parasites too since I get sick on Parastroy.

I thank God for Lymenet. I never would have known I had multiple infections. I believed the arthritis diagnoses.

Thank you all.

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began.

Thanks Lymetoo!

I have mixed emotions. Shock was first. Relief came next. Then I settled in and thought how lucky I am to have a doctor to help me get better.

I turned 40 last year. Perhaps I can get healthy and enjoy the rest of my life. I have been sick, tired and sore for so many years I can't remember what it is like to be healthy.

LLMD thinks I may have had Lyme my whole life because I have never been able to eat sugar. Makes me sick... always has.

I didn't get really bad until I got bit by a Rottweiler in 1993.

Who knows. I guess it doesn't matter when I got sick. Just that now I have the opportunity to get better.

Just throw babesia into the mix and your story sounds a lot like mine. [loco]

I'm glad you have the correct diagnosis and can get started with treatment. Fasten your seatbelt....it could be a bumpy ride! [group hug]

I'm pretty sure I have babesia too.

I react to the parastroy and artemesia, tried salt/c protocol and got lots of stuff coming out.

Hoping the ride won't be as bumpy with the guidance of a good LLMD. I have been trying to cure myself for far too long!

Thanks for the hugs. I need that!

Hey momlyme,

I, too, have "arthritis". Do your joints ever feel itchy? Do you have redness and swelling?

From all I've read about arthritis in the past six weeks it seems it's more of a symptom than a disease, and nobody seems to know exactly what causes it (aside from the infectious causes like bacteria or fungi).

It's a half-arsed diagnosis, in other words, particularly if you were young and healthy at the onset of the illness. Arthritis at 23? And nobody suspected an infectious cause? Unbelievable!

Doctors really have come to rely way too much on tests. Why spend so much time and money going to medical school and then rely on a spreadsheet to diagnose your patients for you?
