Thx to everyone voting for her Lyme video daily last month, a nurse from CA has won a 10K scholarship to do Lyme research and get her doctorate!!

There were three categories of video entrants for scholarships: public service, education and community. The top ten voted videos became finalists in each category, then three in each category were awarded 10K scholarships.

The Lyme nurse's video placed 4th out of 21 videos submitted in the public service category. Today she found out she won a scholarship!

She plans to do some research on the following: She wants to see if there is really a connection between mitochondrial function, fatigue levels, and low carbon dioxide levels frequently seen in metabolic panels done on Lyme patients.

She doesn't know if she'll be allowed to add a treatment using supplements. If so, she has had success with using supplements and medication to partially reverse her severe fatigue issue that was accompanied by low carbon dioxide levels. When her fatigue lifted, her carbon dioxide levels returned to the normal range.

**edited for her protection**
