Hey all just an FYI.. verbatim from his mailer.

"We are proud to say that we have had an annual anniversary celebration for the last 16 years! This year we are thrilled to be coming up on our 3-year anniversary in our new building. To mark this momentous occasion, we are offering incredible discounts for new and existing patients!

For new patients that sign up from now until the end of October, we are offering an all-inclusive price of just $5800 for the 2-week treatment protocol! This is a potential savings of up to $3000!! "

I'm very curious as to what in the world can cost $5800 for 2 weeks, yet can still be considered a "discount"!

What kind of treatment is this?

What in the world does he offer that is so expensive? Daily massages? A world-class escort service?

I don't understand.

It's Dr. J and his book Beating Lyme Disease gives info about what types of treatments the clinic offers. Still can't afford in at $5800 though.

Wow. I think this is really sad. People shouldn't have to pray to win the lottery to be treated for Lyme disease. I believe that some just plain take advantage. There. I said it.

Hope - LOL about the "pray to win the lottery", because most of Christianity would consider gambling to be a sin! [lol]

Well... at least I think they would consider it a sin. Probably somebody has created the "Gambling Christians" denomination somewhere...

There are several denominations which at least do not PREACH against gambling per se. Doing things in excess is where sin comes in.

For example, many churches use real wine in communion... but being an alcoholic would be a sin. Jesus did convert water into wine ya know!

Tutu - how do we know that "a little bit of gambling" (i.e. not in excess) isn't like "a little bit of adultery"?

I don't know the answer to that, but I think it's interesting to contemplate.

Well, is gambling one of the 10 Commandments? ( or "not gambling")

It IS if it becomes your "God." Otherwise, it is not. At least that's how I see it.
