1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood or not....
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day and you might as well go home.

16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay .
17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" and "Avoid Business" routing option.
18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.
19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?
20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!
21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time.
24. The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.

Fitted sheets work best when you wash them and put them right back on the bed. No folding involved!
But if it took men 100 yrs to find out that the brain is also important I seriously doubt they are washing sheets anyhow!

I always wash sheets every week and now that my back and neck are bad, I have to depend upon hubby. He thinks once a month is overkill... hahahaa... we're still working on it!!

Folding fitted sheets is not as bad as trying to put back on the duvet comforter cover back on!
I have to put my coal miner's hat on and dig under the comforter cover to make sure I get it to each corner.. and then of course I am all staticy (sp?).

The funny thing is that the name "Fuel" makes it sound like he's fast and furious, but in reality he's slow and cumbersome!

Randi - love this post - I especially can relate to #17. I live in the city and it is crazy how quickly you can drive through the "ghetto" accidentally..
I wonder if anyone uses cursive anymore. Especially now that everything is digital.

The loss of cursive writing is sad to me .. on many levels. Oh well, call me old fashioned. Can you imagine the Declaration of Independence with everyone PRINTING THEIR NAMES???

Tutu - I agree - I think beautiful cursive writing is so elegant. I was always in awe of my elementary school teachers and their handwriting. My cursive is.. ehh.. ok.
I think it is sad that we only text and send emails now.. barely any phone calls prob.. forget writing letters and sending via snail mail!
Don't get me wrong -technology is great but I just miss some of the non-techy stuff.

I have a letter written from my parents to me at camp back in the days of the wholly mammoth..
How precious is their handwriting to me now...
So much of that will be lost with technology.

it's like me and books. i don't own a kindle but got hubbie one, he loves it. i love the feel of having a book to carry around. i keep my favorites in a bin in my closet and dig them out.
i'll take my books any day. his kindle can break but my books can't.

Alice- I agree - jeans should not be washed too often. At least if you don't spill anything on it!
I haven't really held a Kindle in my hand - so not sure how it would feel to read from it.. I'm curious about it - in that I can live clutter-free since I have no "library" area.. But I agree - a nice book cannot be replaced.
So I just go to the library for now and hope there is no mold on it..

Kindles/Nooks are AWESOME!! I'm so disappointed whenever books aren't available in ebook versions. It's just so much easier to hold the Kindle than to hold a big book, and also you can adjust the font size to make it as big as you like.
Also, you can read free samples of the book to decide if you want to buy it, and when you buy it you can get it in less than 1 minute! That's pretty amazing.

The worst thing is when you buy a physical book that sucks. I bought this book last week called "Water and Salt", and it was probably the worst book I've ever read. So now it's taking up my space, collecting dust, helping hold my house down in case of tornado... and I paid good money for it.
stillwater - I would sell it back, but that's the only book I don't want to keep. Does it still work if you want to sell just 1?
I would give it to a friend, but I don't want them wasting their brain cells on that book.

You would be surprised by the attitude I got from Salvation Army once - when I had tried to donate a couch that was in pretty decent condition. They were like are there any stains on it? I said, well it ain't brand spanking new!
I have so many textbooks from my MBA program that I spent so much $ on but can't sell back to the school because of course every year they come out with a new edition.. ugh.
So prob eBay books it will be.. unless I am bored one day and feel like reading about operations mgmt or something.. good for when you have insomnia.

JAC- I was not really sticking up for men, even though I come from that gender. I learned a long time ago that women are smarter. It's like the ole song:
