Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began. Posts: 2007 | From NY/VT Border | Registered: Aug 2010

Our first computer was an Apple II-e .. unless we had another before that. Can't remember. I can picture it in my mind. We were so excited!! Our first home computer. Not very many people had them.
Can't remember the year... around 1980 or '82??

Oops, you're probably right. I just remember that it was insanely expensive.
I think I had a II-e for a while, and then we eventually got a II-GS, which (if I remember correctly) was the first one in color.
Oregon Trail, baby!! I used to play that all day. Oh yeah, and Number Munchers!! That was SOOO fun!!

OH!! I remember Oregon Trail!! Being a teacher, that was one of our first computer "games" for the kids.
We even learned basics on programming in the beginning, since there was no internet. The kids learned it!

Yeah, I used to love BASIC programming. And then there was Q-BASIC, and then Visual BASIC.
I used to make animations using the BASIC language, and my friends used to say: "How did you do that?!" Ah, those were the days. Everyone was impressed by my artwork.
And then came the TI-83 days, and then TI-85. :sigh: Pixellated memories...

Tutu - isn't it strange to think that while you were a teacher somewhere showing little kids the Oregon Trail, I was a little kid somewhere else playing the Oregon Trail?
