TOOLS for Parents- Creating an Advocacy Notebook
Presented by: Patricia Exman of Exman Advocacy And The Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force
Saturday November 5th, 2011 10AM ~ 12PM
Town Hall Annex 66 Prospect Street Ridgefield, CT 06877
This hands on workshop will provide parents with the skills, knowledge and resources to maintain documentation and records that will be instrumental in becoming effective educational advocates for their children while suffering with Tick-Borne diseases.
Every parent will walk away with a notebook organized with their child's information that they can use as an effective advocacy tool for the coming year.
While initiated for Lyme patients, anyone struggling with educational issues due to illness will benefit from this meeting.
Bring your piles of paper related to your child's education and let Pat guide you through organizing this into one of the most powerful tools in the advocacy toolbox.
While program is free of charge registration is required.
