Made a decision to not travel away from my family for treatment, and to avoid IV ABX. So..... upon much consideration and success stories (from non-Lyme) patients about a Homeopathic Dr., I opted to give her a whirl. She said I was the worst case of Lyme she's seen, that my body needed to rid the Lyme first and foremost to see if it was causing my other bodily malfunctions, or if there were other underlying causes. She said that usually Lyme patients she's seen the Lyme was not the glaringly obvious cause of ailment. She deemed my body on "red alert." Pretty scary. Major systems affected: adrenal, nervous, thyroid, liver, kidney, gall bladder, intestinal, reproductive, brain.... fun stuff. There's also some bacteria appearing indicating food poisoning, but I have no idea where that came from. My blood pressure PLUMMETS when I stand up. Apparently I also have no minerals in my body. Anyway.... on a bunch of supplements to start, she is starting me slow so that my body doesn't freak out. Double the amount of Lyme remedy than she has prescribed in the past to others. My best friend sees her for non-related Lyme stuff, and I have seen a WORLD of difference in her. I also know of several other people who have seen her (non-Lyme) where there has been tremendous life-changing differences. That's why I'm trusting her, being open minded, and hopeful. GA is a sucky place to have Lyme. She is in agreement with my original DX that it was a dormant case from childhood. She said it's been in my body a long time. So, if I see a difference in myself, I will be happy to let other GA sufferers know her name, but not until then.

Good for you Momoo...my daughter utilizes three doctors and her LLMD leans heavily towards a more natural approach...not that he is against abx...he also uses that approach...but have seen significant progress with my daughter using integrative medicine.
