Happy Monday, Lymetoo and everyone else!

Got my booty out of the house and to the lab to have blood drawn today. Does that count as exercise? [Smile]

Working on laundry today. That always gives my back and arms quite a work-out.

Otherwise, I'm trying to lay low today. Weekends always wear me out, because that's when hubby can take me to run errands.

Hope everyone else is doing well this week! [Smile]

AIW...yes...getting to the lab counts as moving the booty.

Drove Rosie out to the un developed area in the forest to let her run. I drove. Not strong enough to do the 10 min loop this am.

She was a bit low on energy this am too and wanted to get back in the car sooner than norm.

Able to empty the DW and put dirty dishes in sink to soak.

Laying low today too.

Hi guys - it is a bit chilly out today!

Going into the office 3 times this week - tomorrow, Wed, and Fri for a few hours each day.
Should be good to interact with my co-workers!
I have to do some training for some employees so that is why I am going in..

I saw 3 dogs in front of my apt building today, tied up to the fence. They must have been waiting for the dog walker to finish dropping off one of the dogs in my building. There was a chocolate lab howling and jumping in sadness/worry.. I felt bad for them. They looked helpless just tied up.
I wanted ot set them free - of course - that would not be cool..

So I checked in the floor of the unit where I know the dog was being dropped off or picked up and sure enough he was taking his time socializing w the owner there. I was like, there are dogs out front whining/crying.

I plan on doing some Wii exercises later today.. then I gotta pick out what I am going to wear tomorrow to the office. Working from home is nice but you end up wearing sweats all the time.. most days I dont even change out of PJs.. so pathetic!

Anyway it will be a challenge to find work clothes that fit. Everythign has been getting too big on me.

Another week.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and got Verizon wireless for my laptop. I'll now be able to go on the Internet from my house!

[woohoo]

No more sitting at the McDonald's to use their WiFi hotspot.

Am taking off of work tomorrow to take my sister home from the hospital.

She ended up staying because she developed an infection at her IV site.

Haven't been doing to much, just house stuff and laundry. Am having some problems with my hips.

See you all later!

[hi]

That's great, AK!! YAHOOO!!! Hope your sister is doing well now.

Hips?? oh no! Hard to get around then!!

No exercise for me yesterday .. but I went to the cardiologist, the chiro for spinal decompression and then to the movie "Courageous." It was really really good! I recommend it to everyone, esp if you are a parent or will one day be one!!

Good morning all!

Got all our laundry done yesterday. Good thing, because today has turned cool and foggy, so pain is up. Me and the pup will be hanging out inside today, laying low.

I tried to convince the pup to go for a short walk outside, but she looked at me like I was crazy. It's not THAT cold outside! What a sissy she is. Maybe I can get her out the door for a walk around the block in a little bit.

Other than that, just trying to rework my budget and stressing/obsessing about making the right decision for insurance open enrollment.

aklnwlf - Yay for internet from home! Glad to hear your sister is coming home. Hope they got that infection at the IV site all cleared out.

Lymetoo - Busy day for you yesterday! Hope cardio had good things to say! What is the movie, ``Courageous,'' about?

lpkayak - Sounds like your last couple days have been full and busy! Sorry to hear your ankles were hurting so bad after doing two days in a row! Guess our bodies do like it better with breaks in between!

Back in a bit.....

---Movie Trailer for "Courageous" ... It's really about being a dad.. or parent.. but I'm neither and I loved the movie! It has action, plenty of humor and heart wrenching moments too.

Wow. That movie is going to make me cry when I watch it, isn't it? [Smile]

By the way, me and the pup made it out for a walk. We went around 2 blocks (small blocks) and home.

She is napping now. [Smile]

Zzz I am tired!!

Went into the office Tues morning and this morning (since I dose IV in mid-day).

Training people is very tiring too!

I did do some Wii exercises last night and felt pretty good.

Might have to do a really short work out (ie 5 min) today but need my rest.

This rain is NOT helping my joint pain either!!!

Tutu - that movie looks good! I bet I will cry too.
50/50 totally made me cry too. But it wasn't depressing all the way.

Alice - glad you were able to make it around the block w your pup! She must be napping happily now.

ALW - yay for wifi in house. hope your hips feel better soon.

Kayak - hope your ankles are better and your hand surgeon appt goes well tomorrow. And have fun w your friends!

Where is Kam? hope you are doing ok Kam!

Maybe tomorrow I will be stronger.

Did the 10 min loop this evening. Not sure it was wise but did it anyway.

Noticed someone had moved Paul's white cross to the other side of the national park boundary lines.

Paul was the guy who was staying in his camper while a friend was building a home at the National Park Boundry Line.

he just up and died still holding the cell phone in his hand. he had just called a friend to let them know he was going to be at the divorce support group mtg.

When, he didn't show they came looking for him.

Laundry last night. Planning on doing some housework tomorrow. Have company coming for dinner on Sunday.

Am making my famous chicken enchilada casserole.

At least that's the plan.

Not sure how long I was on my feet this am. Guessing it was 5 min, rest on a very cold rock and then 5 min back.

Went to another area this am. I was reminded why I stopped going to that area. Too difficult of a walk.

I need flat ground to walk on or stronger legs and vibram souls.

Still not doing well enought o read how you all are doing. Hopefully later.

Kayak.. I'm OK! My cardio appointment went well. Dr says I can eat something salty next time my BP drops. She said maybe I am one who doesn't get enough salt in diet. Probably true since I don't eat processed foods.

Will also get a metabolic panel done Monday to check the potassium level. It dropped pretty quickly after supplementation in the hospital last month.

AK.. sorry to hear that your hips are painful! Not good!!

penguin.. PM me if your face is on one of Paul's photos.

Kam.. sorry to hear about the white cross being moved. [rant]
