Today it's a wee bit o' housework, a wee bit of work-work from the home office, and a wee walk around the block to clear the cobwebs. Whee!

A bit of wee LOL Jimmy1

Did the 10 min loop in the forest at dawn in the sleet/slush.

Yesterday at dawn there were half a dozen other cars at the trailhead.

Today, I just ran into the guy that is the pioneer on the trail and hikes it in the dark with his minors headlamp...he had is light on when I passed him.

Didn't take time to talk to him...I needed what strength I had to walk the trail.

got home and it started snowing. Nice.

at last..you all don't need to stay up wind from me now...I took a shower...resting now ...then hoping to get dressed in something I can sleep in and wear outdoors tomorrow too

Went around the block in the reclining power chair with leg lifts this am.

Face hurt it was so cold but rest of the body OK.

Able to empty out the cat litter and put new litter in.

And able to make a cup of coffee this am.

That was about it. That did me in.

79 and sunny. Just drug my sorry bones out for a little bike ride through the woods and, abra-cadabra, I feel soooo much better. A little nature, a little fresh air. Life is good.

Now I must go collapse.

Does shopping count? Trying to figure out sizes etc. for two teenagers for a funeral. They were not with me, so I had to 'extrapolate.'

I'm exhausted.

Yes ...things we took for granted before lyme...count as both physical and mental work outs after lyme.

Before I got my power chair, you would find me laying on the floor in a clothing store...trying to get my strength back so I could walk out of the store.

I think that any movement counts. Think of a stagnant pond. All it takes to keep a pond clear is a small amount of movement in the water, like a fountain in a big lake.

Shopping is exhausting for anyone.

HAHA!! That's a good one! I do that often, so I'm really getting double exercise!! One of my computers has all my links, but the new one doesn't .. sigh. Need a computer guru around here to help me out.

I actually did go to exercise today!! Only did 6 1/2 min on the machine and about 12-15 laps. I was too lazy to use the counter today...so I'm guessing.

I had to do a lot of shopping today and now my back and neck are really unhappy with me. OUCH.

Heard from some friends from Texas today. He used to teach with my husband 25 yrs ago. He has been to our little town before, and today his car broke down and they ended up at my best friend's garage for repairs. (here...700 miles from his home)

My friend called and said I have someone here from ____, TX .. I'll put them on the phone. That was funny! We plan to get together tomorrow.

kayak.. you are the world traveler. I get tired just hearing about your travels back and forth!! How many miles is it from NH to NJ??

Hi gang. Sure took me awhile to recover from cutting my grass but I'm done for the year!

[woohoo]

Now onto other things like trimming and picking up limbs etc.

So far this week I've done nothing but try to recover from the weekend.

Will try to get out in the yard maybe tomorrow or Friday.

Kayak-Sorry to read last week's post about your little horse. [group hug]

See you all later!

I hope when I get off this klonopin, I will have more energy. I am down to 1.5mg (started with 3mg). Fatigue, muscle aches, insomnia, along with an occasional headache, have been my main sx. I just run out of gas. UGH!

I was sure anything that was as tiring as shopping had to count, but wanted your opinions.

Nothing fit my daughter, so I get to go do it again today. More exercise!

Shopping counts in my book. It can be exhausting.

Still haven't done anything but tomorrow I might pick up some limbs.

See you all later!

I took a pilates mat class today, but I only observed the rest of the day, no "practice" because I didn't want to overdo it again. Now I have the next three days off. YAY!

Lymetoo, yes, I taught this morning but we don't do the exercises with the class. It's more like personal training.

Today I did a little pruning and mostly weeding for about an hour. So finally some fresh air and sunshine! [Cool]

Rocky was happy to be outside too. He went nuts and barked at a buzzard, running around the yard thinking he could get it. It was hilarious! He hates buzzards! Guess he doesn't want them to get him while he's still alive and kicking! [lol]

TuTu-My neighbor situation across the street is still not resolved. The pit bull thing is resolved but not the other. I'm still working with local law enforcement. That's why I don't walk Rocky anymore and it just breaks my heart. But I'm hoping and praying that things will work out. Thanks for asking. [kiss]

See you all tomorrow!

[hi]

ALW...

I always enjoy reading your posts. They remind me of when I had my own home and working in the yard. Miss it. Big Time.

Sorry, to hear the neighbors have not left yet. Hopefully soon.

Tutu,

I am now finished; I think, except for maybe one or two returns.

I think we have the whole family taken care of. The kids grow up too fast, hubby has put on weight, and I have lost 60lbs., so we had to start from scratch.

ALW,

Nothing more stressful than bad neighbors. We used to live across from some bad ones - crazy as a betsy bug. We finally had to move because of them. Hope you situation improves soon.

i hate shopping...i spend so much more $ getting milk and bread at convenience stors cuz i cant deal with huge grocery stores

and i go to little hrdware storrws not walmart etc..

houseto ouse (nj-nh is 12 hrs...dont know howmany miles...but my camper is in the south part of state at a friens---only 8 hrs

had mix ups the last few days...but did get rid of computer cabinet and have plans for other stuff

i might even see my grandson for thanksgiving...that would be great ...it has been so long since we got together as family...hoipe it works...

got my saddle and tack trunk at barn. tried not to see mylittle horse but i hadto...his stall is near saddle and he was in. he pricked his ears up and nickered to me. that was really hard. i hugged himand walked away and cried the rest of the day. he doesnt look sick or in pain but lies down every day and has a lot of trouble getting up...ohhh-so sad.

i have not been doing healthy exercise-just abusing my self with packing and lifting...sooo much pain in hands. well that makes it easier to know i need the surgery.
