Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."
- William Arthur Ward

What are you able to do to move your body and use your brain this week??

What are you grateful for?

Able to do the 10 min loop in the forest this am. We got rain last night. So the wood laying on the ground in the forest was almost black.

I am grateful for the quiet, safe, affordable place to live with the national forest just 3 miles away.

I am grateful for the car that gets me there. The service dog that also gives me the extra nudge to give it a try to get outdoors.

The supplements and meds I have to take that help me be able to do these things.

I have lot osf things on my mind I would like to try and do today. I know I need to pick and choose which things are most improtant to me.

As I will be limited on what I will be able to do.

Potluck here at the apartments at 5pm. I am signed up to bring a pumpkin pie. Can't eat pumpkin pie but thought it would be great to at least have the smell of a pie cooking in the oven.

Need to get to the store in order to get the pie. Not sure that will be do able.

Also not sure if I will be able to get to the pot luck. If so, I will be wearing my ear plugs and only going to put what foods I can eat on my plate and then leave.

And dropping off the pumpkin pie of course. If I am able to do this, It will be the first time since I moved here in 2007.

We're having new carpet put in today, which means way too much moving stuff around and cleaning. I'm going to count all this crazy physical activity as my official exercise.

Kam, have fun at the pot luck. How wonderful that you live next door to a national forest. A few minutes in nature is so uplifting.

Been down all week. Doctor thinks it's the yeast. I am now reacting to stevia, evidently. Thought it was safe??

Was barely able to go eat at Thanksgiving. We got to eat at the college cafeteria and they had ALL the fixings! I ate squash, spinach salad and turkey. Pretty exciting, huh?

My exercise this week has consisted of trips to the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen; otherwise was on the couch or in bed. GRRRRR!

Oh, crap, Tutu. (No pun intended)
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I'm a bit worn around the edges myself. And I started adding lots more poisons and potions to my Lyme protocol today, so I expect my natural charms will only increase.

My husband just put on a very old SuperTramp album. "Take a look at my girlfriend, she's the only one I got. Not much of a girlfriend..." I started cracking up. He's such a smartypants.

I got shellfish cross-contamination at a restaurant and ended up in the ER within an hour afterward. That was last Sunday, but I'm still wiped out.

I cooked Thanksgiving dinner with my children for 10. I taught one pilates class, this morning, but I don't work out with the class.

Wow. Rough week for some of us. I always enjoy hearing about all of your goins on

So, was sad to hear some of us have had to slow down.

But, glad to hear I am not alone.

Kayak...good to hear you are wrapping things up.

Six...ugh

I was finally barely able to make it to the grocery store this am. VEry weak but at least able to go.

Even the electric cart moved too fast for me.

Wanted to pick up some turkey legs but they were out.

Well we made it through another week.

Hoping next week is a good one for us.

Tutu...I can't do stevia.

Thanks. I'm starting to feel better today. There's still a drag on my system, but I am feeling much better. It's amazing how long this takes to work through.

I took a pilates mat class yesterday. My kids were surprised I took rests (the whole family goes to pilates on Saturdays) because usually I'm doing the more advanced form of all the exercises. I was really, really stiff, but at least I was moving again.

Tutu, I hope you're feeling better this week.

SixGoofy, oh my gosh, I hope you're completely over that horrible shellfish debacle.

Kam, hope you can make the forest loop this week.

I've had a tough few days but am determined to drag my saggy derriere outside today. It is a gorgeous sunny day, and my bike misses me.
