There is no LD in Arkansas. The ticks don't cross over into AR because they are afraid of the Ozarks.

My son got some really nasty bullseyes in AR at camp. His ankles were covered with what we always called 'seed ticks.' I guess they were nymphs.
The md diagnosed lyme, but of course only gave him two weeks of doxy, so he came up with chronic lyme.
I wish I had a picture of his ankles - four or five bullseyes on one and three on the other.
You are right; lyme actually SHARES jusisdiction with RMSF. My husband has had that too.

Yeah, it was, started out looking like bruises then I didn't know what it was. They came up the day after he was bitten. We went to the md right away. He knew what they were.
I wish I had known to push for more abx.
