My faith has definitely been a big factor in my ability to stand this for 22+ years. Once my brother commented "You always get the tough challenges....a divorce, single motherhood, then you become a young widow with a new baby and then illness. I think God gives these challenges to you because you are the strong one of us who can handle them."

If you ask "Why me?" Answer "Why not?" I am certainly a very different person than I was before I got sick. And maybe that is exactly what God had in mind!
