Another week gang!!! [woohoo]

I had a crazy busy weekend. Didn't walk Friday because it rained and was too busy doing chores/errands for my Mom on the weekend.

The plan today is to head out after work and walked around the duck pond.

See you all later!

i tried to pay bills today and didnt.

i painted a table tho and it looks good (and my hands hurt)

and i ran out to this little dept store we have in town cuz they had a sale on plus size tops and i am getting nervous about my trip to chicago to see my son get his doctorate...my son who had lyme at least 7 times!!! so this is a biggie.

before i got to the department they started announdcing they were gonna close...grrr. it was hard for me to get there...i grabbed 6 things...at the register i decided to leave 2 and the 4 i brought home fit and matched my pants perfectly...

so my exercise was painting, shopping and trying things on...it took all night. but it makes me feel better to be a little more ready.

i also talked to the campground ppl and they sounded really nice...its closer to my son and cheaper than i expected.

im going to the camper in so. nh for a few days so may be offline...never know when i can get to a macdonals.

take care all!

oh yeah...i think the grapeseed ext migt be doing something. i added doxy back in today and also started with the buhner tea...im still standing...but may have to back off a little on the trip

Monday-30 minutes around the duck pond.

Kayak-Whew, you lucked out on the shopping. I'm kinda big on top and I have to try everything on. I'll look at something thinking it'll fit and it's too small usually...... [Frown]

It's already in the 80's down here, so I went and bought a baseball/vented hat to wear when I walk. Gonna try it out today. Need to keep the sun out of my eyes.

See you all later!

I am not KAM,,,but I know who she is.

Just wanted to say I am starting 'another' job this week.

I work from 5AM to about 9 to 10AM at my old job. Then this new job from 10AM till 6 or 7 PM for last couple days.

And a couple days more at least this week. Next week dunno yet.

will work either 6 or 7 days at old job this week.

Seems all I Get done is sleeping and working,,

,course it didnt help to go to your first day of new work with 4 hours first,,, AFTER absolutely not a wink of sleep all night

Just couldnt get to sleep for some strange reason,,,guess I was too tired to sleep,,,or head hurt too bad.

Tutu, let me know where to find your other half next time I get to town. Course would need time off,,,THAT wont happen!!!!

I enjoy hearing all you people can do,,,it inspires me!!!

Went out this a.m. to get a Dexascan and bloodwork done. Then went to the grocery store to buy some roses for my dr's staff. Just a single soft yellow rose for each. Very pretty.

Decided to buy a special cheese roll and crackers for the doctor. Why not?

I get there and find out it's the Dr's birthday! Can you believe that!!?? [Cool]

So then I get the full explanation on my Dexascan which he already had the report on! Now THAT is service!

I'm so lucky to have this Dr! He's not the world's best, but he's great in so many ways!

oh PS... there were 4 roses in the bunch... so I got one too! [Smile]

Tutu, how fun! You must have totally made their day at the doctor's office!

I've had a long day, but a good one. Got up at 5:00am with hubby and made him a masterpiece of a sandwich to take for lunch. Did two loads of laundry and got my house all nice and clean. Met a girlfriend for lunch (walked, so we'll count that as exercise) and blew the afternoon with her just hanging out by the pool chatting and catching up. It was great.

I'm wasted. A quick shower and in bed by 8:00p would be loverly.

Still glad I made the extra effort to make everyone at the dr's office happy! [Smile]

The gifts for the doctors team sound like fun. I noticed someone bringing in two loafs of maybe banana bread when I was at the cardio earlier.

Nice. And you got a rose too. yippee.

Hope you got a good nights rest and the trip to the pod's is smooth sailing.

Jimmy...what a wonderful day you had.

What is a dexascan??

I'll be back later to read more.

Yesterday am I was able to get out of the apartment first thing in the am.

got gas for the car and then went on a dirt road to let Rosie run while I drove. She was a happy camper. She ran for a mile.

Then I drove to another site and walked up an incline to check on some property in the are I normally go.

Just dreaming. The property did not feel like home so I need to keep checking out lots...there are a lot of them there.

Starting with the corner lots first. The view would be nice on the corner lot I climbed up.

It is the highest lot.

I saw 2 coyotes and two cotton tail while we were on the way to and from our outing.

Both coyotes stopped to look at me looking at them. I reached for my camera but knew they would just look like a half of an inch of something in a field. They were too far away.

I need a stronger zoom.

I over did it. It took me a while to start to feel like a humoid again.

Hoping to be able to go out to the Indian Ruins soon. I have not been out there in a long time.

Wednesday-30 minutes around the duck pond. Then

home to cook and iron a couple of days worth of

clothes.

Nephew is spending the night tonight, so cooking

out chicken and then later tonight, he and I are

going to see 'The Hunger Games' at the movies.

A big treat for me because I don't usually go

out to much.

JD-2 jobs! What, one isn't enough? [lol]

You take care of yourself and try to get some

sleep! I take a natural sleep remedy myself

that I learned about from TuTu. It's a combo of

melatonin, 5-htp, valerian, gaba and l-

theanine. That and a glass of wine or beer does

the trick for me. Good luck with the new job!

TuTu-I had to get a dexascan too before I

started my HGH injections. Course I had a

reaction to the HGH and haven't taken those in

quite awhile. That was awesome that you got the

things for your doctor's office on his B-day!

I'm sure they enjoyed your thoughtful gifts!

Jimmy1-A masterpiece huh? [lick] I'm

hearby putting in my request for one too!

Kam-You're not afraid of coyotes? I heard they

will attack. We've got alot of them down here

and I sure was surprised to see how big they

are. Looked just like a real skinny wolf. Good

to read that you're out and about alot and

getting Rosie some good exercise. Rocky is

having some problems with his front leg and I

think he's getting hip dysplasia. Sometimes

he'll fall over just walking a short distance.

I worry about him.

See you all later!

[hi]

Able to go for a drive this morning ...not that I wanted to but Rosie kept giving me the look.

It turned out I was OK once we started to roll and let the car move my body.

Stopped at dog park. Rosie ran a couple of laps with the other dogs...they were feeling spunky this am.

Able to pick up Rosie's poop. I recalled when I first moved here that was a big ta do and most of the time someone else got it for me.

Stopped at a couple of yard sales. Saw a camper like refrigerator at one.

I was reminded of when I needed one of those in my bedroom because I was too sick to get up and get to the kitchen.

Thankful I don't need one now.

I also drank some ? can't recall what it was this am. But, recalled when laying on the couch and getting liquids in me via a straw because I was too weak to hold the glass up and drink.

I was looking for used TV's at the yard sale. Didn't see any.

Rested. And then walked into two thrift shops. TV's they had a while back where gone.

Rested.

Then walked into one more thrift shop. They had 3 TV's.

They are going to check them out and see if the closed caption works on them. Not sure how they are doing to do that without cable.

Surprised I was able to do what I did this am.

I also saw a few things I would have liked to take pics of while I was out.

But, photo op was not from the drivers seat of my car. I would have had to get out of the car and I wasn't up to it.

Decided to do a photo op another time when that is all I am trying to accomplish.

Beautiful out this am. Windows are open.

I think it is the pain meds that are helping me when the body tenses up.

I noticed that I lie here and feel it tense up at times. I think focus on relaxing the body.

I wonder how long I have been living with a tensed up body...me thinks a long time and if I did not have the pain meds I would still be experiencing it.

11:30 am here. I still have not eaten this am.

Need to rest...then I can eat and take meds and supplements.

It seems when I am doing things eating is out.

good to get out of the apartment. I think that is twice this week I was out for an hour est.

Mostly in the car...but good to have a change of scenary.

Thursday-Dinner and movies were great!

Nephew staying abit longer and will be there when I get off work today. So we'll probably eat at Hardee's or something.

Got a super busy weekend planned.

Saturday is the dreaded grass cutting day if it doesn't rain and making potato salad and dessert for Easter dinner at my Mom's on Sunday.

You all have a great Easter!

Aklnwlf, the smell of fresh cut grass, and a nice potato salad just screams a happy Easter!

I just returned from the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine doctor for my arm and frozen shoulder. What a neat guy. We talked about the Lyme disease and although he's not an LLMD, he was very understanding and totally cool about it.

We're staying away from steroids, and will be doing a program of physical therapy along with Celebrex. And I'll be able to ride my bike to the health center for the therapy.

I just love it when something goes smoothly.

Have an excellent weekend, everybody!

wow-u guys are doing great!!! so good to hear about everyone out and about

did tutu get to foot doc? i missed it if she did

im in camper...sketchy net connection

good news: i put in an offer on a very cheap property down where it is flat by the ocean...much better for me there..no steps in whole house-offer accepted!!! financing is very tight...please pray for me guys. if this goes thru i might even give the mountain house away.

challenge: back in walker...maybe the 5 sets of cellar stairs i did when looking at properties did something to the left knee. no pain...it just wont hold weight. it gets better when i rest it. i dont care that much if it gets better...if i can just get this property my life will be so much easier and safer...even if i am in wheel chair

A few minutes to Easter everyone!

I'm boiling eggs for the potato salad as I type.

Well, I cut grass for 2 hours and my neck is hurting so I took half a pain pill and muscle relaxer, which I hate to do. Gives me a hangover the next day.

After cutting the grass, jumped in the shower and went to Ulta to pick up hair mousse and then to Kroger's to get some groceries.

Doing some laundry while I wait for the potatoes to cool and waiting on those eggs.

Well, with too much on my plate I bought dessert. 2 Pepperidge Farms cakes. One, coconut and one, chocolate. [lick]

Jimmy1-So glad to hear you have a good shoulder doc. They're worth their weight in gold. I've got a bad left shoulder myself and had 2 surgeries so far. Need another but I'm putting that off for as long as I can.

Kayak-I sure hope you get the property. Sounds great being by the beach. I bet there's no grass to cut, huh, you lucky thing! [Roll Eyes]

TuTu-Hope your feet are ok. My neck's killing me too after the marathon grass cutting today.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

[group hug]
