Although I get frustrated with feeling like crap all the time, I am not there right now. I am, however, really tired of all the doctor appointments, trips to the lab to have bloodwork done, taking 40+ medications and supplements, weekly trips to the infusion clinic to have my picc dressing changed, all of the detoxing protocols, watching everything that i put in my body for food and drink, and everything that has to do with getting better. It is a lot of work.
I have been treating for a year and a half, and although I am seeing improvements, I have a long way to go. I am loosing steam, and find myself avoiding all of these things. I am burnt out to say the least. How do you keep vigilant? What do you do when you no longer want to have anything to do with your recovery? I know I need to keep going, but it is hard to not just accept this life, and find a way to live with the disease. How do YOU do it?
