Thanks, everyone. It was a great day. We drove the beautiful drive to San Juan Batista for a leisurely lunch outdoors with our son and his wife. The hills are gorgeous...they look like green velvet. The wildflowers are starting to bloom everywhere.
Then the four of us had fun shopping for Easter basket stuff for the three grand kids (our older son is swamped and his wife can never be bothered so I usually do it...but I needed some help this year). Easter will be here at our house and younger son will cook for us.
We four (aunt, uncle, grandparents) try to make sure the kids always get celebrations handled. Do you remember your holidays as a kid? My kids all do.
Happy Birthday to all my April friends! Isn't this a great month for a birthday?
And Happy Easter, everyone!
