i want to thank tutu and all those who give of their time and knowledge to respond to those who post in seeking a doctor.

i recently responded to over 15 individuals and only one sent back a note. i didn't know my doc did not treat children but now i do thanks to her generous response.

i am not pointing fingers or chiding anybody. i'm just saying that even a one liner to say thank you good brighten somebody's day.

heck, i seldom get private mail so when she responded i was like "wow, she got it. great." plus it let me know something about my doc too that i can pass on to others.

so please, if somebody takes a moment of their time to recommend somebody won't you please take just a moment of your time to say thanks or no thanks, whatever.

I know. You would think they would be ever so grateful to get a name or a list!

I'm used to being ignored after all these years! [Razz]

Yes, if you help out there, you have to accept that you don't get much thanks.

Paul you're too funny!!! Jus saying that a lot of people really try hard to help others. I have looked up doctors, locations and even talked to other Lyme patients to find out about drs to recommend for someone.

There's more to jus typing off a quick response sometimes.

For those who get these responses just remember that it's a person trying to help you and a quick thanks would be
Nice.

I hate to think that somebody would not extend a hand to help somebody cause they never got any responses from their efforts. But it could happen.

So next time somebody says I didn't get a response you might consider how many times people have responded but got no answer.

Ok done beating a dead horse

I'm surprised but I suppose I shouldn't be.

I received about ten responses to my doctor requests and privately thanked everyone. Just by responding to everyone I received more helpful information and my husband did get to see a new LLMD last week.

So again THANK YOU all for your very helpful and supportive PMs! Your information has been greatly appreciated!

you know this bring up an interesting point. am paranoid enough to believe that maybe, just maybe, some of those requesting information are nOT lyme patients but trollers or somebody wanting to cause our doctors problems.

i may want to reconsider giving out doctor information.

what does anybody think?

Randi, I sure hope not but it takes all kinds!!

Honestly I really don't know what we would have done if I didn't get the help from posters here!!

My husband really likes our new Dr. who is so helpful and thorough compared to all of the typical non LLMDs we've seen. I'm just hoping for he best with him but it's going to be a long process.
