- I would like to see them but have tried several times and just can't tolerate any of these kinds of programs.
As I'm on the west coast, if anyone in any other times zone who sees their performance could please note the time in your zone, I might be able to tune in for that segment.
IF, however, there are sudden FLASHES or sudden SHIFTS in sound - or too heavy on the drums or fast rhythm -- or fast camera moves, please make note of that, too and I would just avoid.
No need to detail it, just say if it might be too stimulating.
Thanks so much. I truly wish I could enjoy these kinds of programs as I (normally would) love to see what the younger talent is up to these days.
Geez, coming back to just in make an edit, it's simply amazing how this reads. I really do think I must be from another planet if so many others can watch this and enjoy it.
I know all the reasons in my case but it's still just so surreal. -

The show is FULL of flashing lights and noise. Don't even try.

Great show! For someone who has suffered terribly from this disease, I'd say there is hope for all! He had a REAL bad case of Lyme and still able to do this...Unbelievable!

- Yeah, thanks for the reminder. I've seen a few of those in his "barn" recording studio. What a nice set-up.
I forgot about that option as he has many videos there.
I remember being a midnight DJ, back in the mid-70's when their music was at the top of the charts. They kept me "company" many late nights at the station. So glad to see he is doing better and that they are still making good music. -

Cool! My SIL was a DJ in the 70's for a few years.

www.lfdh.com - Check out 'Live From Daryl's House'
He's been taping once a month for over 5 years now and putting it up on the website. It's finally getting recognition and the 'guests' he has come sing with him seem honored to be there.
Daryl is WAYYYYYYYYY better without Oates. His band is phenomenal. Oates coulda been anybody (seriously).
Caught his show at the Borgata in Atlantic City last month. It's a sin the versions of his 'Hall and Oates' songs he does now are not on the radio. Just can't believe the man is 65.... They did a rendition of 'I Can't Go For That' that must have went on for 10 minutes. This version he did with Cee Lo Green was similar and just as great.

- Julie,
Thanks so much for that neat collection of links and your narrative.
I can't listen now but will explore it all when my brain is in a good state for that.
I also love Annie Lennox. What a talent!
Cheers. -

If you go to Live from Daryl's house, check out Allen Stone. He and Daryl really tear it up. The song Unaware is amazing. After I saw this in March, I found out Allen was going to be in Houston.
I have tickets for the House of Blues next Saturday. We have about 20 people going just from what they saw Allen do with Daryl and his song Unaware on Conan.
All the Best, MattH
