Hi all,
Thank you, everyone, for all your support and responses to my various posts! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

I just got back from my apt with Dr Z (Michigan). I absolutely LOVED him! I know some have had issues with not being treated long enough by him, but I feel I'm in a good place to at least start out.

He ordered lyme, bartonella, and babesia from Igenex based on my symptoms. He also ordered a huge amount of bloodwork on everything from food alergies to hormone levels.

I'm really hopeful. He seems to really know what he is talking about. If he doesn't treat me long enough, I can always move to another LLMD, but for right now, I feel I've finally found the place where I will get some answers about the last 5 years of hell.

I actually started sobbing in the office because I was so relieved! He rolled his eyes and was disgusted at the fact that other doctors have said it's all in my head. He said I should call them and tell them "NO - it's in my whole body!!!"

Test results should all be back in three weeks, but they didn't have an apt until mid July for me to come and see what they say. I'm hoping for another cancelled apt so I can at least know what's going on before I go out of town for a week...

and don't forget that you will feel worse before you feel better .. OK??

Thanks Lymetoo! I'll feel a lot better knowing what I'm facing. Then, if the treatment he offers doesn't work out, I can seek treatment, even out of state if needed. Thanks for your support!!! <3
