There's a new article out today about the birds of Plum Island, that are encouraged to congregate at an "animal research facility" (bioweapons lab).

There is a picture of a bird in the latest magazine issue of
Lyme Times (CA magazine)

The birds head is littered with engorged nymph ticks.
It's horrendous.

Good grief after reading this link.
