Poor little girl! We thought we have it bad over here, from what I read the poor Aussies have to send their bloodwork all the way over to California. And there's not many LLMDs, if any in Australia.
Just what they say, Lyme not even being in the country is ridiculous ``there is little evidence that Lyme disease is caused by Australian ticks''; and ``it has been reported from every continent, though there is no conclusive evidence that it is found in Australia''.

Poor little thing. Not in Australia? Don't birds fly to Australia? It's so sad that so many people are clueless about this disease.
