A beautiful Mid Atlantic morning... a walk with an understanding friend... and all 3 children happily ready for school. A Monday morning doesn't get much better than that.

What are YOU thankful for today?????

Let's keep the positive thoughts flowing....

A husband who loves me and encourages me...Children who are nurturing to me when I don't feel good.

A God who is ever faithful even when I can't see that He is there.

-My "Top 5 favorite people" as I call them (my father, my cousin and three amazing friends who mean the world to me and whose presence in my life helps me so much)

-My work as an editor which sustains and fulfills me

-having great health insurance

-The fact that even at my sickest, I have never lost my sense of humor or ability to laugh at my situation and to take comfort in small fixes of hope and happiness where I can find them.

Jess.

I'm thankful for my dear friends and family, and as Just Don said, my Lymenet family!

I'm also thankful that the skink, the skunk and the baby fox have been kept out of the house by nothing more than a screen door and a prayer. Amazing.

Oh, and chocolate ice cream too.

The car that a friend gave to me so I can drive the 3 miles to the forest and let Rosie get her exercise.

This morning I stayed in the car while she ran.

I also am thankful for the lift that was recently provided and the tires so I can now transport my power chair when health allows.

I also am thankful for the kindness of strangers. A lady is driving me down the hill to see my primary doc next week.

She was the one who drove me down the hill to get the lift installed. She is OK with quiet, drives smoothly, doesn't wear chemical smells around me and I feel safe with her.

Thankful for another friend in CA who is faxing the information for Dr. B's presentation this weekend to my primary doc.

Praying she is able to attend and will be able to help me this year. I only saw her twice the last insurance year.

Thankful I am no longer waking up with the head stuff.

And health is slowly improving.

And for world peace. HA!

Yes. Thankful for my lymenet family and this computer that helps me stay connected to people in a way that is do able health wise.

I also was thinking how nice it is to see posts on FB about how much wives appreciate their husbands and why and visa versa.

I was thinking about how when I was a single parent, I had too many people coming to my home complaining about their spouses.

So, it was great to come here and read the good stuff .

I'm thankful for all of the above too!!

Quite often I thank God for a bed to sleep in. Not everyone has a bed!!! And so many have NO FOOD, no place to live .. so I am very thankful for the simple things.

I'm also thankful for a new friendship. [Smile]

LOVE TO ALL OF YOU!!! [kiss]

Thankful for better days.

Thankful my mum and sis are flying in for a weekend, staying in hotel, rent a car all just to see me and make it easy.

My children.

God bless.

I am thankful for a warm shower in the morning and clean water...I know many people in the world don't have these things...it is beginning to smell like autumn and I am thankful for how the Lord made things smell different so I could enjoy it.

The leaves are falling off the trees and this year they are crinkly sounding...they make cool sounds on the pavement when they are blown across the street.

Funny, I was just thinking how grateful I was this morning as I lay in my nice comfy bed.

I was warm and grateful for a place to live without threat of break ins or other issues.

I try to think of things I am grateful for every day.

One of my Drs told me to find the beauty in every day. It helps if I do this.

Yesterday was the beauty of my two adorable grandson that spent the evening with us. They bring such joy to my life.

I am thankful for the lady who is going to drive me down the hill to see my primary doc tomorrow and for the lift on my car so I can bring my power chair and for the $40 I found in my wallet so I will have gas money.

I am thankful the weather is cooler now. And for the commputer that is next to my bed and for the junior high teacher who taught me to use the keyboard and I can still think via the keyboard for short periods of time.

I am thankful for the keurig coffee maker that I finally charged on my Walmart Credit card(although I am not thankful for the payments...that cuts into food money)

But, at least I am now getting liquids in me after years of drinking water and still being dehydrated.

Green tea so far and a cup of coffee in the am.

I am thankful I was able to get dressed this am and drive Rosie out to the forest area and let her run while I drove.

And I tried to clean the two side windows on the inside while I was out.

Resting now. Discombabbled. Hoping to be able to do more.

Able to kind of scan some of the other posts. Good to read.

That the dog I was keeping for a relative on vacation has gone home after a week.

The pooch would not let me sleep past 6 am and had to be in the same room at all times. Also smelled doggy. Do dog owners get used to that smell? He was just washed before coming to visit.

Caregiver was here for an hour. Thankful for her.

I know she vacuumed. Getting up now to see how the food situation looks.

I had requested she make egg salad, cut up carrots, and make GF spagetti and put it into seperate containers so I can just put it in the microwave.

Thankful for the maintenance man here at the apartments too.

I am use to owning my own home. But, renting has advantages.

New refrig is freezing food. My brain has been in too much of a fog to figure out why so finally able to let him know about it.

Old frig was freezign food too even on the lowest temp.```````````````````````````````

And he put a new thingamajig on the kitchen faucet.

Thankful for the ice packs that a cyber lyme friend sent. I used them all day yesterday on my brain.

need to get up and get them out of frig again today as brain is hurting.

surprise and soccer mom...yahoo Fun to read

Hugs to my cyber lyme friend tutu

I really need this thread this am...in the dumps. Need to focus on the positives or can do's.

Able to take Easy Boy Power chair to lab and get lab work done that I got the paper work for on Monday.

I was in a fog and not knew something was wroing but not sure what. When I got inside and stopped moving in the power chair I figured one of the things wrong was my body temp.

Once I started warming up a bit I started feeling better...but still in a fog this am and other things.

Resting now...then ?

One thing I am thankful for is that I have two power chairs. One is not workign right now.

So grateful I have two. The one that is not working is the one that I am able to load on my lift and transport somewhere and the one I use indoors.

The one that is working is the one I can use outdoors and not indoors as it is too large and I can't load it on my lift on the back of the car.

So, around the block I go in it to toilet Rosie.

Going to check weather report next. I think it is supposed to start cooling down now during the day.

I hope so.

I am thankful that I could take my kids to co-op school.

Yes..Tutu would love to be your friend. I could use some..lost alot when I got sick.

Which reminds me. I am grateful for the two friends that stuck with me...One of them is my husband.

The other friend refused to stay away when I was so sick and did not want any visitors.

She crashed my boundaries anyway and has been helping me ever since with encouragement etc.

Both meds are ones he was on before. Stopped them both and will restart one at a time.

Funny tutu! HA!

Thankful for that last little ear of corn. Picked small- last of the season- scattered empty spots along cob, but what was there was sweet as honey.

And thankful for the silly little grass hoppers chirping and singing.

[Big Grin]

PS. Special howdy hey to Kam today!

Grateful that I woke up feeling more well than sual. I am watching Joyce Meyers right now and grateful to her hear message. I am grateful I had enough food to make my husband's favorite ham and potatoes for lunch. I am grateful I have gas to drive 9 miles to town and money to buy what I need. My Lyme seems to be diminishing as far as some of my symptoms go. Lots to be thankful for today. Looking forward to a walk tonight with hubby.

Those are good ones for today!! Cozy, sounds like we are in the same boat this week.

Glad to have food!

Beautiful weather, but I didn't get to go outside. Gotta fix that situation!

kayak.. I have such a green thumb and don't get to use it anymore. I DID buy an aloe plant last week .. at the BANK of all places!! [lol]

They were taking donations for the plants for some charity. I didn't even notice what the money was going for. I had decided to buy an aloe plant about 3 wks ago and BINGO there was one there just for me!

I hadn't been to the bank in about 6 months.. so I know that plant was for ME!!

The beautiful weather today

Was able to get all my geraniums potted up to bring inside

Made a big batch of ketchup today

And I'm thankful for friends.

Lymetoo, isn't that such a wonderful feeling when you know 'this is meant for me!' (your aloe plant at the bank)
