Since CFS has kept me from being as active as my family AND since I've wanted to figure out what the heck is wrong with me and get well if possible I resorted to writing.

I recently started a blog: http://whispersfromthefather.me/ I will be adding to it from time to time. I would appreciate any feedback for improvements or comments. Please share with others if you find it helpful.

I have also started a blog on healthy eating as my background is in nutrition. When that blog is ready I'll post it somewhere too. [Smile]

May God encourage all of us as we journey through this awful experience of Lyme/CFS.

Best, Timaca

How are you doing??

I was able to read the first part of the blog. That is what I keep getting too. Something we need to be reminded.

Hi Kam~
Thanks for taking a look at the blog. I've had a very interesting time of things....when my antiviral was increased I had significant (with a capital S) neurological issues. Reminded of me when I was given IV vancomycin early in my illness. Not fun. That has mostly settled down.

A few weeks ago, I decided to go off gluten. I really didn't think it would help me at all (for various reasons) but it seems to be clearing up a geographic tongue I've had.

Now I've decided to go on an elimination of sorts....so I won't be eating any of the more usual foods that cause allergies. I will be interested to see what that does to my tongue, and my lymphocyte subset panel (if anything).

How are you?

Best, Timaca

Nice, Timaca! Have you read Jesus Calling? Reminds me of that. [Smile]

Ditto. I appreciate the writing and the message. I also appreciate the quietness of the page and picture. (Hope that makes sense)

Lymetoo, did you know that the woman that wrote Jesus Calling has Lyme? She wrote Jesus Today, while she was diagnosed and treated. I just ordered it.

Thanks again, Timaca!

Is the Jesus Calling book anything like the God Calling book?

I have God Calling and really like it.

No, I don't think they are by the same author. This is Jesus Calling: http://www.amazon.com/Jesus-Calling-Enjoying-Peace-Presence/dp/1591451884/ref=pd_sim_b_1

Sarah Young gives a bit of credit to the God Calling author in her book.

It's in the introduction. She mentions many books she's read that influenced her.

Hi Lymetoo~ I have heard of Jesus Calling and glanced at it once in a store. It reminded me of a book I have (now out of print) that I enjoyed, entitled: Your Move God. It is written in that same style, as if God is talking to us. I do like that style.

kgg~ Thanks for your comment. Yes, I like the quietness of the photo too....very calming. I think that is what God wants for us: a peaceful existence. He is, after all, the Prince of Peace. [Wink]

Best, Timaca
