Thank you Yolanda. I am sure that more celebrities have this, but are in the closet. Hopefully they will keep the fire going & fight for all of us.

It takes someone who is widely known and popular to open up the public's eye. Put a few of them together & we have a driving force for recognition. We at least need this for now, the cure I am doubtful will ever really come.

Did you guys know Beth Ostrosky Stern was bitten by a tick in Long Island? She is Howard Stern's wife.

I love Yolanda for trying to get awareness out there. When I saw the video of her accepting for ALL OF US LYME WARRIORS and telling her story, I literally cried the entire time she was speaking!

So familiar the symptoms, the searching, the fear it was as if I'd written her script myself.

She's new to this disease, only 2 1/2 years....I pray she does get better, but fear she is only in the Honeymoon Phase. :-(

I sent a copy of her speech to my family members....one came back asking if I'd looked into that center, and two told me they didn't even open it since they "don't like those kind of downer videos".

Sigh....yeah, this is our life, huh? Why would I expect any different result?
