It has been a long time since I've been here, but it's not just cause I'm well and don't need advice anymore! I fell and broke 2 vertebrae and I'm a mess. I was in the hospital for 8 days, then an invalid at home for a couple weeks (bless my husband) then recovering in a brace for 3 months. I am doing okay, but trying to get used to living with pain. That part of it is so familiar....but the good news is, through all of this trauma and stress, I have not had a relapse of lyme at all. It's now been 6 months. So I'm writing mainly to say two things: you CAN get well, and secondly, another THANK YOU to all of you, for getting me through what I thought was the worst thing that could ever happen to me. Now I know there are worse things...but the odds supposedly are with me that the pain will eventually be less if not gone. I wish you all wellness.

Wow. Sorry for your fall but encouraged to hear of a trauma that did NOT induce a relapse!
Here's to continued healing and achieving a life without chronic illness or pain!

That was very inspiring. Thank you!! I am trying so hard to get back to who I was before--and I relate to this a lot.
