Our local park district is now posting signsin certain parks that say "This is a tick infested area." The sign then shows a picture of a tick and how to dress appropriately and use Deet etc. This is the first time I have seen this anywhere.
Kudos to our park district.

I've seen that at one of our state parks.
Also, our national forest warns about ticks with signs posted and also post info about Lyme and Stari.

That's a good start - now, for more parks to do this, if possible! This has happened in CA in the LA area.
Someone from China even showed me a picture of a sign in a Mongolian touristed park with a tick warning in both the native language and English!
