It is so fun to have a youngster in the house again! She's feral but so sweet. She helps me let go of lyme.

Yay!!! I am so happy for you!!
We adopted an eight week old kitten last September . We love him to pieces, however our older kitty did not at first. Now , she tolerates him.
Enjoy, I know our new kitty helps our daughter with Lyme.

Thanks all! :) I am so happy to have her! She lights up my day and takes my mind off of lyme.
I'm not good at computer stuff. I have to see if I can get my husband to do it.
She's a sweet little tabby. She looks like a tiger. She ran into my daughter's house, then she didn't want her (long story), so we took her in.
She is so shy. She loves me, and is afraid of my husband tho. She hates our other cats too (she's feral). I've had to break up one or two fights, but things are starting to simmer down a bit (we've had her a couple of weeks now).
I forgot how fun younger cats are. Our other cats are old. We bought her a bunch of tiny felt mice at the pet store this weekend. She LOVES them! She rolls on them and purrs, then throws them up in the air and bats them around (makes me smile)!

I hate to be a spoil sport, but if she is feral, what about disease? Have you had her checked out and given shots, etc.? i guess you already took care of this. Sorry!
She sounds so cute.
I know that when I was young, I had several strays, who were sick, and who knows what I caught from them, like toxoplasmosis.
Enjoy! Don't mind my concern.

Something about that Kitten energy that makes the days a little lighter.
Then add in the melt your heart eyes, the purring that gets activated with belly rubs......

I had a thought about a feral cat as well-- I have said before, I believe my infections took root in handling/ bit/ scratched
by a family of feral cats years ago I tried to tame and feed outside (no known tick bite)

So true Jane! I am so happy your daughter enjoys her little guy too!
Thank you Rumigirl and Surprise for your concern about her being feral. I know what you mean. She lived with my daughter for a while now, and had all of her shots. She's still mostly feral (skiddish, shy, meows really loudly) but she's been strictly an indoor cat for a while.
I know cats can pass stuff onto us (dogs too), but I don't care. Life is just too short, and I cannot imagine myself without animals. I've accepted my situation with lyme and company, and I'm as careful as I can be. But thank you friends, I really appreciate it!
P.S. I couldn't stop playing with her last night at 1:30 am!
