While it's certainly more intense than any of us ever thought it would be and a "good traveler" skill set has expanded, I'm sure . . . still . . .

There are millions of wonderful, warm, caring and intelligent people all over. All over. I'm sure they will be among many good people. There is still much beauty & delight to experience.

It will be OK, kayak! I'm sure it will!!

I am (for some reason) more worried about subways, etc. And they are closing the embassies in many countries, just in case.

The big day seems to be Wednesday. Are they flying on Wed?

I've heard that only 2% of what we worry about is actually going to happen. If it's true, that's pretty good odds.

a niece is in manhatten...theatre district with her 2 daughters. i hope they walk or use cabs.

my daughter - i forget which day now...better i dont know i guess

i still have ptsd from 9/11 i was too close...knew too many ppl there i dont understand "being brave, keep on keeping on, boston strong" im a wimp i guess. just what they want ...
