MADE THE BED??????? why when you are just getting back in???
that became wasted energy for me awhile ago
im exhausted. the roofer came and finished the de-molding job. i sure hope it works. it is supposed to make house cheaper to heat and cool too.
then PT was late coming but stayed for 2 hrs. she moved furniture so i could get to bathroom and use hall as my "walk in closet"-he he he...fancy that...me with a walk in closet
the hall is a rectangle with 6 doors going off it...i have hangers on the doors for clothes and a shelf with cubbies for other clothes
she also had some ideas about kitchen but OT comes wed i think
oh-also i went to bank cuz i got some really bad money news re the foreclosure etc...too much walking to get in and then a line...even tho as soon as i was with the right pweson they gave me a chair
i cant lift the wc now cuz of surgery---right arm very weak
so im tuckered out...just came on for a minute then early bed
i have helpers many days...maybe even vacume and dusting helpers-not sure yet

Did short walk with a friend this morning to take pics of beautiful wildflowers. Did my balance exercises and then went back for a 40 minute walk with my trekking poles. I am visiting my folks and they have a beautiful park outside their retirement center.

Enjoyed everyone's postings! Now we just need to hear from kam!
I have some extra aches and pains today. Seems like each day brings new pains. My feet are so-so.
Going to PT tomorrow. I hope she can fix a few things!

hubby woke up feeling weird and jittery.... decided to skip the Boswellia for a few days and see if it goes away.
Took a shower, soaking his feet in Epsom salt water while eating breakfast.
Hoping to work in his office later and soak up some sunshine before the clouds roll in.
They are calling for thundershowers later today & the next two days. His muscles are already predicting the rain.

Tuesday-Visiting my Mom and sister today.
Sunday-Busted rear cleaning up around the pumphouse and cleaning the inside.
Monday-Put up vinyl gutters on one side of pumphouse and it seems to look great even though it was the first time I've ever done them. Can't wait to see how they work when it rains. I'm hoping it'll direct the flow of runoff away from my dirt drive. Keep your fingers crossed gang!
Hope everyone is doing ok. Wonder if Kam's having a good time and how MannaMe's hubs is doing?
Kayak-Friend of mine said the same thing about the sunburn feeling. She had that symptom from radiation treatment.
See you all soon!

aklnwlf, I told my hubby you asked how he's doing - he says "I'm a PAIN!" He's been having a lot of muscle pain from babs.
He was able to do more work in his office this afternoon after a long nap.
Sun is shining again so maybe he can go out awhile this evening. He's rifing now.

Tons of rain here... flooding way NE of us. We are fine.
Here's a good comeback to the question, "How are you doing?"

I skipped yesterday as I way over did the exercise on Monday. I walked my 20 minutes and did my balance exercises.
I have added back in my arm weights and I am a hurting puppy. My abs and my shoulders are on fire. I do not have abs of steel!
Good for you lpkayak--whatever you can do is great and I bet it makes you feel better!

oh my...these exercises that feel like nothing...are not good for me now. all the pain is where the surgery was...not where i exercised. i think i have a pattern of doing too much too soon.
i have regular supps and ibu in me now but it is not calming down. guess i have to call doc. i hate going backwards

My exercise was mainly the 4 blocks I walked from work to the Pub to have lunch (no beer for me, although my co-workers had some. We are not officially back to teaching until August 15th, so they could have a beer and not get in trouble)
Anyway, I laughed. Everyone but me drove over to the Pub and I was the only one who walked. Nice day to sit outside and enjoy lunch.
Did my balance exercises after work.

Hey there, AK!! I don't remember the last time I had potato salad! Yum. (only homemade will do)
I had a busy day. Got my hair cut... went to the health food store.
Yesterday I went to PT. I have new exercises to do.
My foot and my upper thigh are not happy today. I hope it will pass. (well, I've given up on the foot staying "OK")

hi tute-guess it is not flooding where you are...it is pretty safe at my house too but the rest of the state is having trouble
it rained all day...threatened thunder but didnt...i went out twice to weed my baby trees and roses
im sure i over did it but i love to weed in the rain...the weeds come up so easy and the rain keeps bees and skeeters away
i tossed my peas in the compost ... my taters are about 2 feet high and flowering...i have to ask someone how to harvest them...i think it will be later in fall
the yard looks a lot better and know what i want to do next-transplant some perrenials to spots where they will fill in so i dont have to weed grass...but it will be awhile b4 i do that
i had a surprising amount of energy and just did it slow and steady with a long rest in between
since i came in at 4 i have been kinda sleepy...but a little while ago there was tai chi on tv and i did it while sitting...kinda neat...i wonder if i can do this. i taped the program so will try again.
now i have to really rest so i can do my real exercises b4 i fall asleep
i did sleep really good last night...maybe that is whay i have the energy. that and not forgetting to take my fishoil, curcumin and ibu

OH yes..tons of water !! "We" are about to float away over here! Just remember .. I live on the upper portion of a huge hill... no danger from water here.
We had a flash flood here Wed night about 2 miles away. We are high and dry. No one was killed but several had to be rescued. One was hanging onto a basketball hoop! (and the tree it was attached to)
The creek rose 15 ft in 25 minutes! We had 8 inches of rain in 6 hours and were water-soaked when the rains began.
About 15 businesses destroyed or royally messed up and 10 mobile homes destroyed. One was washed into the creek and has not been seen! About 50 homes damaged. Our community will take care of them. No worries. I think 15 cars were destroyed too.
