- Sadly, there are some factual errors in this article. Still, this unfortunate personal account is all too true and should help others for the most part,
with reader comments picking up some of the corrections, hopefully (where more errors don't do too much damage, anyway - so many errors in some of the comments, too).
With the errors by the author, I have to wonder if he found a true ILADS educated LLMD. It does not sound like it. He is brave to write this and "come out" for any public comments - maybe this will help him find more expert help.

I get the impression that his lyme treatment will be the short course of antibiotics, but maybe my foggy brain missed something.
Its a shame that he believed lyme is rare in the south.
I had a similar belief in 1996 when I was bitten. At that time the CDC was saying how rare Lyme was, mostly in New Englad and still very rare there, as well. And it was so easily treated with a short course of antibiotics.
