How sweet! We don't have very many children in our church. I really miss that!

Lord Jesus, send us children!

I love the children singing of Jesus Love!!!

Hello <<<<< God Thot's Lyme Warriors >>>>>,

We just got a prayer request, a beautiful baby girl in our church is in the hospital here.

The sweet little thing has SJS [Stevens Johnson Syndrome] just diagnosed. She can't be but about 2 and a half months old.

She is in the burn unit, as they say that is the best way to treat for SJS. This came on fairly quickly, so I don't know if they've tracked it to an allergy/infection, or virus.

* Abbi'* and her family need our prayers, SJS causes extreme pain, and she's such a tiny babe. Please join us in lifting her to the Lord for healing.

Lord, we give this little babe to you, You can heal her,and keep her from scarring and any respiratory or organ damage.

Please keep her from feeling the pain, and bring
her family peace and assurance. And we ask for your wisdom for the doctors and medical staff who are working toward her healing.

In Jesus Name Amen !!!

Thanks again for continuing the God Tho'ts threads, this is so needed and a help in our daily struggles to heal!

Really cute video, payne! Boy, does that bring back memories of singing that song as a child!

Silver, I will pray for Abbi and her family. It reminds me that there are so many others suffering much worse than I, and brings to mind the terrible suffering that our Lord endured for us.

Here is an inspiring song for all to enjoy. The video is beautiful too. Be blessed.

Hi there <<<<< God Thot's Family >>>>>'

Thanks to all who are lifting baby 'Abbi' and her family in prayer.

At this time she is in the burn unit, with a special soft linen dressing swaddling her. And they have her in a medically induced sleep cycle to help fight the pain of the burning skin lesions.

TxCoord and I, have been house bound since Sat. evening, with a respiratory bug[tho' nothing like little 'Abbi's' struggles]. We are trying to get our energy back. God is good, and we have had friends call to check on us.

We are looking forward to a nice week, and trying not to let the illness get the better of us.

Will check back in when I am able.

Payne, I had been thinking of that song for a week or two and was going to search it out.

I was looking forward to seeing one of your beautiful pictures Payne and was so surprised to find the song I had been thinking about.

It took me back to early childhood as it did Dekrator. Thank you.

I had a rough day yesterday, thought I would sleep better but was awakened very early this morning. I couldn't get the song out of my head. [Smile] I didn't really want to.

I pondered your question and believe Jesus had no middle name. I cringe when I hear someone inserting H. as it's usually in vain?

I like thought provoking questions/statements.
Bible trivia is also good.

It would be so nice for more children at your church Lymetoo. I remember as a child being a part of programs and would enjoy seeing children performing in addition to seeing the beauty of their presence.

Sad about Abbi Silver. May God keep her from pain and have a full recovery. May He comfort her family at this trying time.

I came across this a few days ago.

‘To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did..’ When God takes something from your grasp, He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.

Concentrate on this sentence……

‘The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.’
Love and hugs to all.
Keeping my brothers and sisters in prayer. [group hug]

With the battle still raging, I have been given to much thought on I only have one life to live.

God wants me to have full, enjoyable life..even in trials. Is that possible?

In myself, no way. But when I find life in Him, then it is worth living.

That is life and more abundant.

To me Jesus' middle name is Immanuel, God with us.

From EngageWorship.org

"On the morning of September 11 2001, 2,976 people from 93 nations lost their lives in New York, at the Pentagon, and on Flight 93.

Today, we pause to remember that moment of horror and pray for those left scarred by those terrible events."

We remember the first time we heard the news.

We recall the first time we saw those images.

We remember the way our thoughts and prayers were with those families who lost loved ones.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them again today.

O God of Comfort – though the years have passed, you are faithful still.

Yesterday, today and forever; let your love and peace endure.

We remember those who survived.

We recall their heart-breaking stories.

We remember that their lives are forever scarred by those moments.

Our thoughts and prayers are with them again today.

O God of Healing - though the years have passed, you are faithful still.

Yesterday, today and forever; let your love and peace endure.

We remember the pain we felt.

We recall the bereavement and bitterness of the aftermath.

We remember that you are a God of redemption and restoration.

Help us forgive those who caused so much trauma,
and that we may find release in that forgiveness.

O God of forgiveness - though the years have passed, you are faithful still.

Yesterday, today and forever; let your love and peace endure.

We remember that you love the world.

We recall you sent your Son to bring reconciliation and salvation.

We remember your Spirit inhabits your Church.

Help us bring your comfort and peace to all.

O God of hope - though the years have passed, you are faithful still.

Yesterday, today and forever; let your love and peace endure.

My grandsons are learning this song by Phillips, Craig and Dean that they listen to on a CD I recently burned from songs I got on itunes:

Please pray for our pastor. He just left this morning for Ohio to see his dad.. perhaps for the last time.

His dad is around 94 yrs old and is a Godly man. He's just the sweetest thing. He is an artist and has beautiful work.

Each year he sends out SPECIAL Christmas cards that he has painted and made copies of. They are so special to me. I intend to get them framed.

Makes me sad to think that he will be gone soon.

Prayers for your pastor Lymetoo. It is so difficult to lose someone close and so sweet.

I can't imagine not being a Christian. We know we will see our loved ones again.

What a treasure to have the Christmas cards that he put a piece of himself in through his artistic talent.

Have a blessed week God thought family.
Keep looking up.

I'm having surgery again in the morning but will be back as soon as able. [Smile]
