- Oh, my. I can't do any drugs at all (and wish they would figure out how to make them all kinder to the liver) but certainly see the need for many who can tolerate them. This really makes the patient out to be treated like a criminal.
It's the wrong way to approach drug abuse, accusing the innocent just to catch a few who abuse the system. Other ways to do that. Many other ways.
The delays and red-tape alone, will mean many will go without to avoid the embarrassment. And they might turn to something more readily available and more harmful.
And just where do they store all these photocopies? Who all sees them? How is that protection of privacy?
"Photocopy a valid government photo ID for the individual(s) dropping off and picking up each prescription"
Not everyone has a current government photo ID. The cost may be too much for many of low income (and if they don't drive, they don't have a driver's license). -

With the coming healthcare plan we will ALL have ID's. But that is another story.

I was ready to change to walgreen's because I age a year each time I stand in line at CVS.....they just expanded the counter area to help more people.
They forgot to hire more employees to fill the counter area....
It all is so scary.
