We'll be OK. They said the storms should die down by Trick or Treat time.

Trick or treat is postponed a day here. not till Nov.1

You would never guess the reason.

SMALL town and they are in the state football playoffs and have to travel clear across the state to play as it is THAT day.

LOTS, MOST people will travel and follow the games. We will be able to roll up the sidewalks early that night.

By clear across the state we arent talking a short drive,,,its all day.

If I remember right last time I went there it was 5 or 6 hard hours of windshield time,,,,one way

Very rainy here too. Sure hope the kiddies wear some reflective clothing to keep them visible to cars.

Makes me sick to my stomach thinking of the dark wet roads and kids running everywhere.

May God keep them safe.

I remember a couple, maybe more,,,Halloween Blizzards.

And I am not talking a white duster,,,this stuff piled up 3, 4, and 5 foot deep drifts.

One year on Halloween it freeze rained several inches of pure ice and didnt let go till spring that year, how miserable that was.

The ground was covered in 3 inches of solid ice everywhere,,,everything was froze tight till March.

But I remember a couple Halloween nites we worked outside in shirt sleeves till almost midnight too.

Weather this time a year is hit and miss,,,mostly miss.

Farmers are rained out of their fields by uncharacteristic amounts this year. It rained hard enuf yesterday to drown ducks,,,well close anyway

Harvest is supposed to be a dry time and it rains several times a week.Gonna be lots of snow scooping if this keeps up all winter.

I like rain better than snow,,,easier to scoop.--
