Ready for a new week? Progress is on the horizon!
I walked a bit after church today. Now, am watching football (again) and reading.
Gorgeous day outside--which forced me to clean the charcoal grill. Supposed to only be in the 40's tomorrow. Brr.
Have a great week, everyone!

Getting up to put cat out and get a cup of jo this am was a bit much. Tahnkful for keurig as I wasn't abel to do coffee until I go teh keurig machine.
One of those mornings when I need the power chair around the apartment but apartment is too small.
Brain is not working well enough to use power chair either...I'd end up putting holes in walls.

Brain was doing well enough I was finally able to listen to my land line messages.
They started on Oct 7th so it took me ? amt of days before I was able to listen to them.
Thankfully none of them were msg's I needed to follow up on and was able to just delete them.

Second get up worked out a bit better. Able to get Rosie out via power chair of course for a short trip to toilet.
Cats head is in the window. Need to get up and let her back in.
Cat went with us this am
Moon is cool.
Able to put box with tent things in it on couch. and add a cleaner and a couple of rags to clean bottom of tent. Had to put it away dirty as it was storming when I last went camping.
Able to put lantern on couch.
Able to put jug on couch.
Put bag to pack clothes on bed.
Resting now.
Rosie has been using the couch as her bed since her dog bed fell apart so she is not going to be a happy camper.
I put a few comforters on the floor where her dog bed was but that isnt' working out for her.
A campground 1 to 3 miles from town opened back up after the govt shutdown. So hoping to give it a try before it closes the end of November.
I did cruise through it at one point. The sound of the traffic on the highway was too much so hoping it works out.
I seem to feel better when I am camping as far as the brain goes...the body hurts more.
But, hoping to have help this time setting up camp and taking it down.

Able to put the kitchen bin on the couch and found some more of the tent stuff.
Brain is so light headed I am not able to do more.
I tried moving kitchen stuff to a smaller bin a while back but that didn't work so back to using the larger bin and hoping ti will go in the car this time OK.
I have yet to use my kitchen stuff while out camping but I keep bringing it just in case.
It would be nice to start up the stove and make a cup of warm tea on this cold mornings if health allows.
Brain is so cobwebbed I am not even sure what I am typing so stopping now.

Not sure how often to take th acuda sida but I was thinking of it this am as when I was moving my body and using the brain I was heating up to the point I needed to stop as the whole body wasn't working and brain.
Kind of afriedn to take the sida cuda daily as some of this stuff makes health worse...herxing.

Hey, another week already!
Tuesday-Here at work and am so glad to be able to sit down and rest some.
Sunday we sold almost $500 at the yard sale so I was very busy.
Did most of my grocery shopping Monday and have to pick up a few things tonight.
Then it's onto some serious couch time! I know it's funny but I miss my satellite tv, couch and Rocky.
Oh, BTW, I work at a Kia car dealership. I do some filing and receptionist work here. The pace is slow and I'm very grateful for that. I only make $8.50 an hour but it's better than nothing.
I still get very excited being able to work at all. I know you all know what I'm talking about. I haven't worked in 10 years and never thought I would be able to. What a true blessing.
Got to do some filing so I'll see you all tomorrow!

Wed. Really having trouble keeping track of what day of the week it is lately.
Able to check my phone messages this am and to answer the phone when my primary doc's office called.
And able to go to the managers office to get the number of her fax so the primary doc can fax me a paper to sign before she refills the sleeping meds.
And call the doctor's office back with the number. Not able to say a complete sentence when I called back.
But, got the job done. Sinking feeling my stomach.
I really don't like being this low functioning.
On the other hand, it is rare that I am able to do what I did this am brain wise.

Hump day!!!
Had another headache all day. Really tired. Had to get some coffee before coming to work and drink some old coffee here at work.
More filing, making some sales folders and reception work.
Kam-Hope you get to feeling better!
Kayak-Should you be cutting your grass already? Thank God our grass isn't growing anymore for the year. Take care of yourself!
TuTu-You're moving? Out of state? Oh, btw, someone wanted to know what dealership I worked at, hence the recap.
I'm beat but have to stop at Sam's and renew my membership and get Rocky some joint meds and maybe a hotdog for dinner.
See you all tomorrow!

Good to read some of your posts. I liked the hot dog and joint meds for Rocky.
And that you are working ALW...i bet that does feel good.
I had forgotten about the moving thing going on tutu.
Moving here ha spretty much just been cat therapy...letting her in and out, in and out.
She is looking at me and then looking out the window now.
That usually means she is wtg for me to get up from bed and go to the outside door and let her out.
Kind of confused about the paper work for getting the sleeping meds refilled.
It kind of looked like she would not refill them until I give a urine and blood test....which means I need to get someone to drive me down the hill.
I did make an appt for Nov 7th with the assistant called to let me know about the new policy from the federal government re: controlled substances.
I guess sleeping pills are controlled substances??
The cover sheet for the form said something about patients coming in on Friday's for urine and blood tests.
For me, i think that is a good thing. I haven't had a urine or blood test in a long time.
kind of yammering. I am hoping the manager will fax the paper back when she comes to work tomorrow.
I give it a few days...I don't think the doc works on Friday or Monday. So, I'll check the pharmacy on Tuesday.
If there are no refills then I'll need to go to plan B....get my but down the hill. I like being able to sleep after years of not being able to sleep.

I hope it's very flat and no "give" to the ground.. no uneven ground?
In Texas, you'd never be able to do that. Have you ever seen the "carpet grass?" The thatch is so thick that it's hard for a disabled person to even walk on.

I'd like to take a sit down shower today.
Next step is to go pick up Rosie's poop and drive her to the area where she runs while I drive.

I had to choose between putting my clothes on and taking Rosie out for some off leash time or take a shower this am.
I took Rosie out and health was doing well enough that I enjoyed it too.
I only got out of the car to see what Rosie was barking at...she was doing her help bark.
She was in the middle of lots of manzanita bushes.
I saw lots of beer cans. I thought perhaps it was a squirrel.
But, after i got her back in the car she had the human poop breath....worse smell..especially when they have been consuming beer.
I think the help bark was because she could not get through the manzanita bushes to eat more poop.
Wondering how the humans got through them. HA!
OR she forgot how she got in and couldn't get out.
Saw a few trees with autumn colors but they are from trees people have planted in their yards.
I think there are only 2 trees in that neck of the forest that have color. It is mostly manzanita bushes and ponderosa pine with some oak and brain is fading so need to stop now.

Hope kayak shows up soon. I did get to talk to her yesterday.

Going to the grocery store after work and then home.
Kam-Rocky's like Rosie in the poop eating department. Is that a hunting instinct? It grosses me out. Usually I wash his face off with a soapy paper towel. Yuck!
TuTu-Cauliflower soup sounds delicious! I'm on the way with my spoon!

Whew! Long week ending with parent teacher conferences yesterday (I saw about 70 sets of parents).
Grocery shopped, puttered around the yard cutting back the rose bushes etc. to prepare for winter. Was hoping the crab apple would be planted today, but the tree nursery called and said the man was sick and they would come next week.
Took a short walk, stopping at various neighbors. I found a men's wedding ring in my yard--have no idea who it belongs to and no one in the neighborhood claims it. Bizarre. It has not been there long as there is no dirt on it.
As I am a glutton for punishment I will watch the Fighting Illini get massacred by Michigan State on the telly this afternoon.
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Hubby has longer times during the day when he feels a little better. He still has some times where he feels really horrible.
Today he did help a little bit when our son was replacing the faucet at the kitchen sink. I could barely turn the wrench and hubby asked what I'm doing?
I told him - the best I can! He took over and gave it a couple good turns! He still has strength in his arms / hands.... now if he just had stamina and energy to be able to get up and go....
He soon had to go lay down again.
Had sunshine today - its cold - so he took a blanket along out to lay in the sunshine. Got some fresh air too.
