Hey gang,

Gorgeous day outside--nice enough for a walk after church. I will be sorry to see the sunset before I get home from work as that will curtail my walks, but today was wonderful!

Have a great week!

I was going to go out to take photos of the beautiful fall color and next thing I knew it was 4 pm and the sun was "fading." Darn!!

Had a nice day otherwise!! Thank you, Lord!

Monday-Was called into work today. Other receptionist out sick. Went to the dermatologist in the a.m.

Have psoriasis and other skin issues. Enbrel was mentioned but I stated that I had lyme and something that suppresses the immune system isn't an option for me.

Had some growths frozen off and electro cautery of some facial veins.

Not a happy camper today. [Frown]

Yardsale this Sunday wasn't as busy as I hoped it would be. My Mom made around $180.

Can't wait until we're done and clean up the house to sell it. I'm getting pretty tired.

Hiker-Thanks for starting this weeks thread. Hope you have a terrific week too!

TuTu-Glad to hear you're having a great day.

See you all tomorrow!

Hubby is finally beginning to feel better and is able to do more. But he is feeling more tipsy...

So starting back on the A-Bab tonight.

Was hoping to go out in the sun awhile today but didn't get that far.

Worked in his office finishing up an order today.

i had two workers here-the landscape guy made my new flowerbed(5x40)--it will also be a barrier for water coming down the hill toward the house in storms...AND he blew all the leaves in my backyard to a corner for HALF of the lowest estimate i had from 3 other guys!!!

wow-was i happy. and my helper lady got here and worked hard and house is in much better shape. it was really a mess cuz i was feeling so bad.

and then i went to primary cuz the heart pressure and lung pain for 4 days was getting scary. he was on vacation. i saw someone new. the nurse and doc both seemed very competent...but she put all my sx into a palm pilot and decided i had diverticulitis and needed flagyl and cipro---10 days each.

i wasnt ready for that. she said it was a clinical dx and i should take it. i refused...i just saw so many problems with tendons and i had to start flagyl at a crumble before and herx that no one there would understand

so she decided to do a bunch of labs-my ekg was fine-bp fine...and she did it sitting and then standing. she seemed like she wasnt used to doing that but the palm pilot told her to. maybe ther is some good to the new techy med appts.

i kinda wanted her to check my 02 but she said it was fine she could tell by looking at me.

her main thing was the description of bm i gave...i told her i knew it was like that from the CALM but she told me no supp could do that. and that meant i had diverticulitis. (i cant have colonoscopy for 5 months cuz of knee surg but in my last two they saw a very small amount of it and said it was normal for my age)

i did throw in a little blurb about post lyme people seem to get worms and parasites maybe cuz their immune system is messed up-she told me i dont have worms...i agreed with her but told her i was pos for babesia and thats a parasite and i noticed she ordered an "ova and parasite grp" test
along with the stool culture-so something must have clicked

now i am wondering if i should take the calm tonight-whether i need it or not-i never know til 8 or 9 just so i will have the D. i described...or if i shouldnt take it...and then they would test a more normal bm

i still dont know what to do but if i cant sleep without it i will take it cuz i also have an oncologist appt early tomorrow that is kinda scary and i need to be prepared for.

so-i did no exercise before appt but walked in with cane and climbed on table and did the positions for ekg etc and walked out and then had to walk and stand a lot for blood draw and when i got home i threw the ball for etta while sitting and then had energy to empty 8 pretty light things from truck from trip north. only one heavy thing left and it can wait til i feel like it

hope i sleep tonight. i havent slept right in a long time.

im wondering if randi is round re the diverticulitis-but i think she might be on a cruise

ak-i remember when i had to break up my farm and sell the house i raised 4 kids in. soooo much work. sooo many yard sales. i know how you feel. unfortuneatly im still carrying around stuff i should have gotten rid of a long time ago

hiker we have had some really pretty days here too...but to often i see it from inside lying on the couch

manna glad hes feeling better...and you too tutu!

Big thing for me today was to get some really good news from cancer doc

So on the way home i stopped at the local nursery and bought a few plants for my new bed

I got a holly, 3 artemesias, a daisy and a decorative grass that will grow to six feet

I wanted a blue spuce but couldnt afford it and something with blue berries but was afraid it would get too big

Exercise??? Walking into doc and around nursery was hard. Then i unloaded truck and planted holly...but that did me in

Hurray. No cancer report and planted a holly. tres bien

I was able to walk into DMV, sit down and get car registration newed.

Somehow I did not get done in April when it was due.

Able to copy registration to send to Long Term Care organization but not able to address the envelope yet.

Resting then hoping to be able to do that.

I also need bank statement to send to them. HOping to get to the bank to day to do that too.

For some reason my computer will not allow me to print downloads...paid to have it fixed...

worked for a short time....broke again...health not doing well enough to get CPU to computer place to have them fix it

$60 to have them come out. If I would have called them when it first happened I most likely would have had it fixed for free.

Guess I could give it a try..but it has been months now.

I also had trouble with my bowels while at the DMV. So thankful they had a restroom and I made it in time.

I was the only customer in the place first thing am. Thankful for that too.

Appointment down the hill tomorrow with primary care doctor if a new neighbor is doing well enough to drive me to the appt and if I am doing well enough.

Not sure if I mentioned this.

I also was able to get gas this am.

New neighbor has a tumor in her brain so her vision doesn't always work. Hoping between the two of us we can do a road trip.

Yes, Lymetoo, he's using the Saccromycees and another probiotic as well as an intestinal strength supplement with more probiotics in it.

This Am hubby woke up feeling good. Mid morning started having spells of feeling loopy. Must be herxing again.

Started A-Bab on Monday after the tipsyness was getting worse. Going to hold off on the cryptolepis for a little longer.

So far only got a foot detox done.

Did some design work for a customer - hoping they get back to him today so he can work on it.

Not as cold today - hoping to go out in the sunshine awhile.

Wednesday-Had every intention of getting back on the old stair climber but didn't. [Roll Eyes]

Did a load of laundry and ironed a couple of sets of clothes for the week. Cooked a super easy casserole for dinner.

Wanted to wash some turnip greens that someone gave me but didn't manage to squeeze it in before work.

Kayak-Glad that the cancer scare was just that, but sorry you're not feeling well. My niece is super sick too. I'm going to visit her tomorrow and drop off a few fruits and veggies, pepto and a phone card.

Kam-It'd be nice to do a road trip. Wish I could go with you two!

MannaMe-Glad your hubs is doing better.

See you all tomorrow!

woo hoo! i have something to write.

slept great. still not sick. beautiful day. went out about 11 to my new flower bed and came in at 4. well stopped for snack around 1:30.

i planted 12 easy perraniels-not shrubs or trees-they require more digging. i am so happy. i also took ett for a 20 min walk cuz i saw a neighbor i hadnt met staring at me and i knew he had a fenced yard and a friendly jack russel. we visited. the dogs played. then i came back and kept working.

i did dig the big hole for my 4 baby white birch...but didnt put them in. that will be hard and maybe the only think i will do tomorrow besides go to PT

i am so happy to feel good and iwas rewarded with this incredible sunset---i even took pics...and then the sunset was on the local news! we dont get them like that very often and i saw it right out my slider.

i am tired and want to get cleaned up and ready for bed before i start listening to music on tv...anyone else? im taping it to cuz i'll probably fall asleep.

i heard tutu had a good day.

kam-glad u got some paperwork done...along with driving and standing. i need to send my big check to IRS...soon. its important. as soon as the birches are in the ground i'll send it.

hi manna...enjoy that sunshine! i am !!!

kam... you are lucky on the DMV place .. Ours has a sign that says NO public restroom! EEK!

When I see signs like that, I instantly have to go potty! hehehee!!

Manna.. none of those KILL yeast.

kayak... What perenials did you plant? I wish I could have seen the sunset! We have great ones here, but I don't often see them. I'm rarely out at that time.

I ran all over town today after attending a Bible study at church. It was awesome!

I took jeans to the cleaners for hemming, bought some stuff at the Dollar Store, got some boxes, got bloodwork done, went to see all my friends at cardiac rehab (have not seen them in months), went to the grocery store, came home and made supper for myself, then made cauliflower soup!!

I hope I can get out of bed tomorrow!!!!

My husband had two FULL audiences today at his shows and then he had to go to nearby city for a band session. (kayak.. same band you saw way back when!) He isn't home yet.

We called and asked to stay here another month because the new place is not even being worked on and they promised it would be ready NEXT FRIDAY! Are you KIDDING ME?

Hubby is just too busy for us to move this month. He has 6 more shows this week and then busy all weekend. Two more shows next Monday, so it is crazy over here!

This is the busiest time of year. We have Veterans' Week right now....and the Christmas shows are in full gear.

I'm still working with my helper but she couldn't come today. She will be here Friday.

Whew!! too much typing!! [Smile]

We had another dramatic sunset even tho it rained all day-cleared just in time

I planted 2 shasta daisys, 2 montalk daisys, 3 artemesias, a six foot decoratve grass, 2 roses, 1 holly, and today 4 baby white birch, a local pine...its holding aspace til i can afford a blue spruce and a baby sugar maple

That was yesterday and today. Most was done yesterday.

I also have iris, day lilies, peonies, more roses, violets, astors, and more i forgot. A skunk ate a bunch of bulbs. I need to buy bulbs for crocus and daffodils...probably next yr

I did pt today but not much else. Im still tired. He told me to just walk as much as i could and not worry about execizes. He said good things about my range and scar

Thursday-Slept in today so couldn't squeeze in some time on the stair climber.

I'm super motivated though. A friend stopped by my job last night to pick up a bottle of wine I bought for him and his girlfriend.

They did some hiking in England this summer and he's dieting and has beefed up his workout to 2 hours everyday!

They plan on going back next summer so he's trying to get in shape. He's got a bad knee and I think the last trip must have been hard on him.

He and his girlfriend are slender but he has a little bit of a tummy. His girlfriend's in terrific shape. She has cystic fibrosis and really stays on top of her health.

I've just got to get with the program!

Kayak-We had a pretty decent sunset here too. I'm so jealous that you're getting all that work done in the yard. I'm not much for cutting grass for hours but I love to putter around with flowers and what not.

TuTu-After reading your post I felt like I needed to sit down! [Big Grin] When I'm super busy afterwards I love my downtime. Can never seem to get enough couch and movie time!

See you all tomorrow!

Sounds beautiful, kayak!! I love flowers!

I was able to run another errand today. Hard to believe I successfully survived yesterday!

I was also able to take a few more fall photos. The leaves will be gone in the next few days. I got some beautiful shots!

First day in a long time that I had to use my walking stick at work. Grr.

Went to the chiropractor. That always seems to help.

Made my 3rd trip to the DMV for the disability placard. First time they would not accept the form as Lyme is not a permanent disability.

Called the MD and got another form and took it over Tuesday and got my parking placard (which I only use at the mall or in icy weather).

Today I got still another form from the MD. Why--I don't know. I compared them and the license numbers for the same MD were different. Took it over to the DMV and they stapled it to Tuesday's form. I am sure they think I am fabricating something, but my doctor's office has majorly screwed up.

Wrote him a polite letter telling him that his nurse's could not get his zip code and MD license # correct, but he signed all of the incorrect forms. I will not be held responsible if the state thinks fraud from me is involved. [cussing]

Called the tree nursery again as they did not plant the crabapple deep enough. They admitted their mistake and will come plant it deeper. Better be soon as it is going to be in the 30's next week.

Huge branch fell from a pine tree into my yard onto my fence. Will have to get a neighbor to help me move it. The pines belong to the church next door and I doubt they will last through another major storm. And I am sure they will fall into my yard --LOL.

Tomorrow will be a better day!

Friday-Ok gang.....I did it! 10 minutes on the stair climber! Looks like I'm almost back to square one. I think when I started last year I only lasted 6 minutes. But I'm still proud of myself for taking the towel off the handle bars and actually getting up on the pedals.

[spinning smile]

TuTu-Look at you....not on the couch like I would be. [Big Grin] Bet you really enjoyed the great outdoors! I love the spring and fall too.

Hiker-Geesh, hope they get that disability thing straightened out for you soon. Dealing with the DMV is worse than going to the dentist for an extraction.

Kam-Hi there! Hope all is well with you and Rosie!

See you all tomorrow!

I bought batteries fr the remote, my box blueberries thst i make my jam from and on the way home i stoped in to price some mulch i saw and the guy ended up using a loader to fill up my truck for 16.00 . But then when i got home i had to unload it. It took all afternoon and there were 2 sqalls...at times it was snowing like crazy. But it was 50 degrees.

I had to clean out rhe truck with the hose too. I wasnt really tired for a long time...then i crashed.

Doing my Saturday dance!!! [spinning smile]

Didn't have time to work out this morning. Putting in my 9 hour day then going straight to my Mom's.

Sunday we're having another 20% off yard sale.

Kayak-I need to wash and vacuum my car so badly. I might try to squeeze it in on Monday. I'm really starting to miss my fresh air and sunshine.

TuTu-Thanks for the encouragement. The battle of the bulge is a real toughie!

Hope everyone has a terrific weekend!

Another sunny day here, but windy. Was going to rake a few leaves, but no sense in this 20+ mph wind. Actually most of the leaves in my yard are my neighbor's (we share). The leaves on my sweet gum tree refuse to fall.

Went for a nice walk soaking in the sunshine--with the knowledge that by Tuesday the highs will be in the 30's.

Ran my errands, putzed in the yard, and wrote my annual Christmas poem.

Funny how Thursday I needed my walking stick at work and yesterday and today I am fine again.

Enjoy the weekend. Exercise, but don't overdo!

Blessings. Hiker53

ak-somehow i missed the part where you got back on the stair climber...congrats!

hope youre ok KAM...i know your going thru a lot.

and hiker-yea for sun and glad you are walking easier. no way could i write and annual christmas poem!

but then sitting at the computer is still a challenge.

well...i got out of bed but barely. and i shouldnt have. my energizer-bunny neighbor stopped in early-i cant even remember why-im sure i did invite her to stop...but i shouldnt have.

it messed up my morning routine of moving very slowly...and safely...and i screwed up and fell. but i think i am fine. i landed on my bum-plenty of padding...had to crawl to chair a ways - well i had to scoot and roll cuz cant get on knees. called same neihbor to come back and get pillows from couch to put under my knees and then i was able to pull up on chair.

since then i am just still tired and cold and in pjs and i see it is late afternoon so i should be a little farther along.

tomorrow it will be warmer---40s still today and no sun. so i am sort of puttering.

my phone broke-i cant see the scareen but managed to call them and they are sending me a new one tues or wed but i need to keep it off except for emergencys cuz it could stop anytime.

my tv is still broke cuz it got goofed up when remote batts died...my hands hurt too much to hold the book ive been reading...and my pretty new tablet isnt working either!!! the computer guy is just down the street-but going there seems impossible.

i did a few little things...moved a small chair into the exercise room where i have another tv that is sorta working...but theres no heat in there so i havent been spending time in there yet

im not hungry again...but im not doing anything but guess i should figure out some lunch. maybe my eyes willl stay more open.

oh-i remember why the neighbor came over. she had 2 collage books to lend me and i thought that would be about my speed today. the "basic" stuff may help me and i got a few ideas...but it is a very complicated thing now...i just want a way to get some of kids pics where i can see them a lot so i can remember the "good ole days" when they were around.

i need to do more bills. i only paid a few last week. im scared of going to PT too long cuz the bill will be huge when i get it. but at this rate im kinda scared to stop too. ohhh. decisions. maybe i should call in sick or something not really stop. all my homework is this week is walk as much as possible. but i dont plan on going out til it is warmer tomorrow...and i have rested more.

i need to find my kindle. its so much lighter than real books...but i love real books too.

guess i better stop rambling. see you soon.
