Be Your Own Duck – Day 4 Sneak Peak of Book Download !

November 20, 2013 · by janicejustlivinglikethis · Bookmark the permalink. ·

Easy for you to say.”

I can hear you through your pain and misery. You are screaming it from deep inside. I don’t want to hear your good news because I am still suffering and you are not.

I can answer you simply.

I wrote this book from the pit, before I felt better, before I could drive, before I could function in life completely. Before I knew if I would get to live fully again, if this Lyme would take me down or my kids down with it.

I stood staring at the barrel of a loaded shotgun all day and night long. God wanted me to write from the pit of my heart to yours so I could completely encourage you and be a testimony to recovery. This is a story of encouragement from my pit to help you through your pit.

I wrote a blog entry a few months ago that is worth repeating to you again. I want you to grasp the concept that you are not in this Lyme fight alone. The article was entitled “Duck in a Row”.

1. Be your own duck – no one is going to fight for your health more than you or your spouse or family members. Healthcare is a giant quagmire that your illness can get lost in – so fight to stay on top of what’s going on and how to find the latest treatment and best doctor.

2. Stay with your pack – Find a group of like-minded Lyme people in which you can fellowship and receive encouragement from. Whether it’s a local group, a Facebook group or a forum online – find something.

3. Follow the big strong duck – make sure the fellow Lyme patients or your closest friends have a positive attitude and are getting better. If not, you are following the wrong duck the wrong direction.

4. Don’t forget you can fly – Look upward, look onward and focus on tomorrow being better.
Cheer on the guy who is climbing up, you will soon be in that position receiving applause too. Focus and meditate on getting better.

5. Don’t forget you could be the main course for dinner – We are all just one breath away from eternity so get your emotional and spiritual life in order. It’ never too late to rededicate your life and reset your priorities. A brush with a terrible chronic illness has a way of getting rid of what doesn’t matter in your life. Spend time with the ones you love, and live and laugh.

In a mere 48 hours, will be the last chance for the free giveaway when purchasing my new book My God, My Lyme bonus version. In an effort to get you even more excited, I’m attaching a sneak peak of a section of the book.

After reading it, you will see what I mean about understanding your plight. Just like the email a few days ago, I have stared the jackknifed truck in the eye – I have been in the belly of the beast – death had me in its clutches in Lyme disease. I know all too well how you feel.

God compelled me to begin writing this down before I even felt better, before I knew I was going to make it out alive. Why? Because He wanted me to share, encourage and help others succeed.

I graduated from duck school. Then went out and got myself a real education about lyme & co.
I received my degree, well some days and sometimes.

Several years ago I stood up and took charge of my healthcare. I realized docs aren't gods or miracle workers. I use them to get to my wants and needs.

I learned to stand up to lyme ignorance and speak the truth to any doc. Whether they listened to my speech or not, I said it.

My education has been passed to many doctors that have come into my journey. I've given all the lyme education I could to these docs.

As more and more truth is becoming public....I would bet some of those docs say "I remember that Pam patient and what she claimed with lyme disease. I wonder if she's still fighting the good fight?"

One must take charge of their being.

Pam

Well said Pam, but they all think they are Gods.

After I did the 20+ doctors (years back), I did the same, and I also may them listen to my speeches.

Keep strong!
