I was negative 2x...but had some Lyme specific bands. My immune system is just too weak to for a response and I feel my main probs are massive co-infections.
My husband was IgG and IgM positive and my son was IgG positive.

60-70% will be positive for those who have Lyme disease. There are 27 reasons why antibody Lyme tests will not be positive for people who have the condition, but I'm not at home right now to get the website listing the reasons. If anyone knows it, feel free to post it.
That's why doctors treat clinically, by history and symptoms. Sometimes after some treatment, people's tests turn positive when their antibodies are strong enough to mount a defense.

I only had a couple of positive bands, a couple indiscriminate bands and the rest were negative.

I had every Lyme band high positive on igg and igm +++. Horribly sick but of course Quest was negative. This was back in 2005.
