My first year of treatment was an unrelenting herx. I wanted to die.
I was crazy infected and made incredible progress during that time. Wouldn't want to do it again though.
Since them, I'm a daily herxer, with duration decreasing as I get better and better.

I hope your doing lots of coffee enemas and liver suport boxermom. Herxing really stresses the liver.

I swear I herxed every single day for at least 18 months. I never had "good" days. Took two years to turn the corner, another 2 yrs to get well.

Sometimes, you get so used to feeling crummy, and it goes on for so long, it becomes your 'normal',
and until you start to feel better, get some distance from the 'crummy', only then can you look back and realize you're improved and recovering.
Kind of like being in a bad relationship for a duration- you get used to it, and only after it's over and you are in a lighter place, do you realize how bad or unhealthy it really was.

12 months. The herx just kept going on and on, so we stopped my second round of abx after 12 months of treatment. Makes me wonder how long it would have taken to abate on its own. Guess I'll never know.

The first few months of treatment was one continuous herx. I was in bed 24/7 then slowly started to wake up.
I assume I cannot tolerate enemas. I tried a simple Epsom salt enema and was a shaky mess. (but I have problems with my common bile duct sphincter so it's probably not a good idea to force my liver to push out glutathione with a coffee enema)
