A young man working in the army was constantly humiliated because he believed in God.

One day the captain wanted to humiliate him before the troops.

He called the young man and said: –

Young man come here, take the key and go and park the Jeep in front.

the young man replied: – I cannot drive!

The captain said: – Well then ask for assistance of your God!

Show us that He exist!

The young man takes the key and walked to the vehicle and begins to pray……

…He parks the jeep at the place PERFECTLY well as the captain wanted.

The young man came out of the jeep and saw them all crying.

They all said together:

– We want to serve your God!

The young soldier was astonished, and asked what was going on?

The CAPTAIN crying opened the hood of the jeep

by showing the young man that the car had

no engine.

Then the boy said: See? This is the God I serve,

THE GOD OF IMPOSSIBLE,

the God who gives life to what does not exist.

You may think there are things still impossible

BUT WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

To the person reading this,

I pray the Lord work A SUPER MIRACLE in your life
In Jesus Name WE Pray..

A New Year to Prioritize Your Priorities

One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life.
Psalm 27:4

Recommended Reading
Psalm 27
In 1967, Charles Hummel published a booklet entitled Tyranny of the Urgent, in which he suggested a reason we're so overworked and disorganized.

It's because of jumbled priorities. Hummel relates what an experienced factory manager once told him, "Your greatest danger is letting the urgent things crowd out the important."1

What are the important things in life? Our time with the Lord. Our families. The work only we can do as assigned to us by the Father.

But how easily these true priorities are pushed aside by urgent demands each day! Let's reprioritize our priorities.

The Book of Common Prayer suggests a prayer of confession that many of us need at the beginning of the year.

Condensed, it says: "Almighty Father. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us.

Have mercy upon us. Grant, most merciful Father, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of Thy holy name. Amen."

Our dilemma goes deeper than shortage of time; it is basically a problem of priorities... We have left undone those things which we ought to have done.
Charles E. Hummel

Time for my weekly poem.

Amazes Me

I have seen sunsets that make me cry
and rainbows that color the soul and the sky.
I’ve seen the shining moon in all of its phases.
Lord, Your love amazes (me).

I’ve climbed the mountain to sit at its peak.
And I’ve walked the valley so very weak.
I have run many long races.
Still, Lord, Your love amazes (me).

I’ve felt the ocean casts its waves against the sands
and have endured the fury a storm demands.
Fire has flushed my doubts with its blazes.
But Lord, Your steady love amazes (me).

I’ve stumbled in the darkness of pain
and have been steadied by Your Light again.
I’m left breathless with wonders of Your faces.
Lord, Your love forever amazes (me).

Lord, I sing Your praises.
For…Your love amazes (me).

I hope God amazes you, too. Hiker53

All of your posts are AWESOME!

I got to do something cool today. Our church was frozen in last week so in the interest of not wasting all of the bulletins that were already run off, we just did last week's service today.

So .. we sang Christmas Carols, including Silent Night! I do believe this is the latest I've ever sung that one!

Really odd Wayne as it seems to happen often. For me too.

It looks like there is much work to be done to spread The Word or am I interpreting it incorrectly? God bless all missionaries.

Hi <<<<< God Tho'ts Lyme Warriors >>>>>,

The posts, replies, pictures, and poetry, with the sharing of Gods word... is so encouraging.

Have had some sad family news, lost a cousin,on New Years, but he is with the Lord now,so no more pain for him.

And TxCoords sister is very ill, her liver is failing, she had to be hospitalized. She got to
go home to be with family. Sis' knows the Lord, and she is in His hands.

We've lost a lot of relatives,in our 35 years of marriage, over 40 family members. The vast majority of them, are resting in the arms of the Lord.

Whatever the Lords plan, I know He has our best interest at heart. And even in times of sadness ,illness, and pain. There is joy, because The Lord Jesus loved us, before we even knew anything about Him.

[Not sure if I am saying this right...but knowing He has a loving life plan for all of us is so comforting!!!].

Thanks for sharing, and encouraging...I need this right now!
